Jack relays Burrow’s belief that Patty acted alone (Victor’s not involved in her escape) On cue, he gets a call. Guess who! Patty chirps brightly from an undisclosed alleyway.
All three agreeing that Nick will need their support when he’s released, Victor’s thrilled to hear that Nikki will be running Vibrante (and denies it’s because she’ll be in direct competition with Jabot)
Putting Patty on speakerphone, Jack claims he was just thinking of her – where are you? She can’t say but is glad he survived; she’s leaving town for good. Hearing Diane huff in disbelief, Patty asks if he’s alone and suddenly needs to go. I’m alone, Jack lies – wouldn’t you like to see me one more time?
Marie’s back to thank Nick for keeping her out of prison – she’d never be able to afford Mike. Adam shakes the hand of ‘Queen of the Stomach Pump’. He’d like his brother to be able to move on and assumes, that as Nick’s friend, she’d want that too.
Over drinks, Sharon can’t judge Marie. Phyllis will – she’s taking advantage of Nick. Noting that Phyllis seems nervous and keeps checking her phone, Sharon suspects this has to do with Matt.
Still at the motel, Matt couldn’t live with himself if something went wrong. So, about the plan, he types a message to Phyllis.
Phyllis isn’t antsy – if she were it’d have nothing to do with Matt. Sharon thinks she’s hoping he’ll call. On cue, Phyllis gets a text (Matt doesn’t think the plan’s a good idea) Something IS wrong, Phyllis thanks Sharon for understanding and sprints out.
Marie only wants the best for Nick. Can we talk privately? she asks him. We were in the middle of a visit, Adam reluctantly leaves Nick to ask Marie how she’s doing. She’s grateful that Nick’s gone above and beyond for her. I had you pegged for a hero-type. Marie will get help – just not here. She’s leaving GC and came to say goodbye.
Nikki and Victoria make it clear that they won’t use Vibrante as a weapon against Jack. Victor has no interest in Jack-ass Abbott. You have nothing to worry about.
Whaddaya say? Jack wants to see Patty. She’d love to see him again but is leaving the country. It’s too bad – we could have been magical. Your loss – goodbye ~click~
Well, you both heard it, Jack concludes – do we believe her? Not for a second! Diane responds without hesitation.
Nikki explains why she nixed the PR campaign with Jabot and mentions the tension between Victoria and Kyle. Wait – you went to Jabot? jack knew before I did that you’re going to run Vibrante??

What the hell? (Phyllis is back at the motel) Sharon was ‘primed and ready for forgiveness’ – she’d have been putty in your hands after saving Nick and then me. Her anger evaporates when Matt explains that he was worried Phyllis would die – I don’t want to lose you.
