Daniel wanted to be the one to announce his new job. When Phyllis goes to chat with Lauren, he denies he was bullied into it.

Nick can’t sit back and do nothing – he must find out what happened to Matt.

Sharon comes home with groceries to take a call from both Faith and Noah. Matt lurks outside, looking through the window.

How could you say no? Danny understands – you have your whole career ahead of you. Daniel sees this as an opportunity to keep his Mom centred and rebuild their relationship. Both notice that Chris is ‘quiet’.

Lauren had to escape the ‘competitive’ Gloria so lied that there was a work emergency. Phyllis updates that she owns the club and has made another decision.

Billy’s not surprised that Lily and Sally like one another – see you on the big day, he leaves Cane to ask Lily how she is. Told that her cancer might be back, he hugs her immediately.

Sharon putters about her house, oblivious that Matt’s inside.

Am I allowed to kiss the bride? At the cafe, Billy doesn’t wait for permission. We’re on track for a perfect wedding; Sally’s surprised to hear that Jill won’t be there.

Nick’s sobriety isn’t at risk. Your mother said the same thing – Victor believes him but doesn’t want Nick to risk his recovery.

Phyllis tells Lauren that she wants to rename Arabasque to SFR. Summers, Fenmore and Romalotti.

Daniel sees Arabesque as a blank slate. Danny’s happy for him – Chris just nods.

Lily brings Cane up to speed and gets another pep talk. He assures that they’ll get through it together. Lily has support but the one person she most wants it from is Cane.

Sally’s sad Jill won’t be at the wedding. So is Billy – it doesn’t feel right. You still love her, Sally knows.

Cane reminds Lily of their rules from when she had cancer – share your negative thoughts; anger, fear. He’d like to take her to any appointments – cook – whatever. I love you.

Daniel likes being there for Mom – she’s doing something legitimate for once – call me if you need help at the Shadow Room. Now alone with Chris, Danny wants her opinion. She’s afraid Phyllis will drag Daniel down with her.

Lauren’s happy to hear that Daniel agreed to come work with them. Phyllis hopes Summer will come around too. She has a new sign going up that Victor will have to see every day.

Nick appreciates his parents concern but needs them to trust him – and that he’ll take care of any threats to himself or this family.

Hearing a noise, Sharon opens her front door – hello? Coming back inside, she finds herself face to face with Matt. Hello Sharon, he sneers
