Billy doesn’t want to leave Sally and the baby but needs to be there for Jill. Cane doesn’t envy him for this decision. Billy will fly to London tomorrow morning – hopefully, it’s not too late. Tell Jill I love her and that she has a new granddaughter to meet.
In the jazz lounge, Lily tells Traci that Cane couldn’t wait any longer. Her phone pings; her test results are in. Call Cane NOW, Traci urges. Audra announces that Sally’s in labour; she and Billy are on their way to the hospital. All raise a glass to the bride, the groom and their new baby.
When Jack leaves Billy a voicemail all the Abbotts chime in with their love and congratulations. Kyle asks Abby to dance. She can’t – her feet hurt. Instead, she summons Victoria over – go dance. Of course a slow song starts as soon as she and Kyle get to the dance floor.
Sally suggests the name ‘Ruby’. Refined, stylish, trendy but classic, Coco and Grams approve. Billy gets to pick the middle name but wants to wait before putting it out there just yet.
On the dance-floor, Victoria’s phone pings – Johnny and Katie want to go meet their new sibling; Johnny’s driving them to Memorial. Kyle sneaks her a card-key to the room he booked upstairs.
Lily joins Traci – she wasn’t able to reach Cane. Her eyes widen as she reads on her phone.
The medics leave Sally’s cradling Ruby in a gurney/wheelchair. After Coco and Grams leave, Sally asks Billy who he called – she knows something’s wrong.
In the lobby, a relieved Lily runs into Cane’s arms. What’s going on? he wonders.
Victoria lets herself into Kyle’s suite to find him pouring wine. She’d rather get right down to business.
Lily’s test results came in – they’re negative! She and Cane kiss.
The Abbotts pledge their support for Billy, Sally and the baby – one life is born while Jill’s fighting for hers. May we all be safe and well, Jack adds.
Still in the suite, Billy thinks Sally’s gone through enough today. Yes, he has questions but those can wait too. Getting married and having a baby is enough for one day. And what an amazing day it’s been.
