When Adam joins Chelsea, Audra appreciates that Newman Media reported on the wedding without taking pot shots at Billy and the Abbotts. Adam appreciates Sally asking Chelsea to be a bridesmaid and Billy letting him attend. Both he and Chelsea look uncomfortable when Audra gushes about the miracle of Adam bringing that baby into the world.
At the house, Jack shows Kyle a photo of Sally holding Ruby. Kyle’s going to a meeting outside of Paris about a skin care line. No, Mom can’t come – he’s got to head out right away and will arrange his own flight. Is there something I need to know? Jack’s suspicious.
You never really know what’s going on in Adam’s head, Nick deflects by telling Sally that she’s glowing. She’s happy – and notes that Nick looks strong. He’s better than he’s been in a long time.
Adam, Chelsea and Audra clink coffee mugs – to Ruby. Babies have a way of bringing people together. Until Sally chooses a Godmother; then all bets are off, Audra claims she’s just kidding. Phyllis arrives – what an interesting group. Have you heard from Matt since the crash? she asks Adam. No, hopefully we never see him again.
This deal is critical, Victor’s telling Victoria when Billy arrives at CL’s with the Baldwins. Victor’s sorry about Billy’s mother. That’s it? Billy’s surprised – No snide remarks about your son’s involvement in the delivery? Victor takes the high road – I hope Jill recovers quickly. After they all leave, Victor comments – You’ll all be in London together; maybe you’ll run into each other.
Jack appreciates Kyle’s initiative and wishes him luck. As he goes off to answer a call, Kyle texts Victoria – All set. This is going to be fun.
Victoria will text her Dad when she lands. She reads Kyle’s text and grins. Good news about the trip? Victor asks. Yes, very good.
