Seated at Society’s most romantic table, Chelsea’s surprised that the waitress thinks they’re on a date – and so does Billy.

Nick shouts out a list of food he’s brought to Sally’s suite. What happened? he’s alarmed when she opens the door with tears in her eyes.

Vikki’s pleased to find Nate in his office – she needs his help with something; a bottle of wine she was told to save for a special occasion. What occasion? We’re gonna forget about business and step outside the box.

Diane finds the Abbot house dimly lit, bubbly on ice – and old Smilin’ Jack looking dapper in a tux.

When Billy takes someone on a date, they know it, he jokes. Chelsea thinks neither of them are in the right headspace for that. They laugh when Billy asks her to pay half the bill.

How did Jack pulls this together so quickly? Mrs Martinez helped. We have the whole house to ourselves. To hell with the naysayers – to us, Jack toasts.

Sally’s overwhelmed and afraid – how the hell can I be a Mom?

Quickly making a dent in the bottle, Vikki tells Nate that she wants to take down Tucker and take over Omegasphere.

Nick reassures Sally – he was scared by parenthood too. You’ll get through it, he delivers a great pep talk.

As Billy blathers on about the menu, Chelsea worries that the waitress might tell Abby that they were on a date. Billy calls her over to do some damage control. This is not a date, he calls they young lady over to announce.

I’m kinda taken with you. Likewise – Jack and Diane are like smitten teenagers. He thinks this has been in the cards for a long time – a prophecy his Mother made.

Nate jumps right in – we need to lure Daniel with something CW can’t – we have deeper pockets and won’t breathe down his neck. We could give him autonomy in writing. Vikki’s impressed that he was able to steal Nate from CW. And you haven’t even heard about my secret weapon yet, he puzzles her.

About to knock, Adam eavesdrops instead. Sally’s sorry she dumped all this on him. We’re in this together, Nick reassures. Adam’s stomped off down the hall before hearing anything baby-related. Nick promises to be at Sally’s side for everything. Where do WE stand? Nick thinks it too soon to decide their future – but as a parent, I’m solid. He’s alarmed when Sally tears up again.
