In the jazz lounge with Ashley, Jack puts Traci on speaker. She’s with Alan!
Phone in her pocket, Traci asks Alan why he left town without her. He was setting up a surprise. She’d love to know what he had planned for her.
When Phyllis joins her at CL’s, Summer asks about the call Chance got earlier. There’s circumstantial evidence, nothing the police can move on, Phyllis is vague – there’s no answers, just a lot of questions.
Still at the house, Sharon’s still reeling from the thought that Alan’s brother may have duped them all – Traci must be in hell right now, she tells Nick.
When Traci again asks about the surprise, Alan says it doesn’t matter now. Everything’s changed. ‘She needs us!’ Jack hurries out of the lounge with Ashley.
Maybe it’s not Martin – maybe Alan snapped, Nick opines. Why us? Sharon still wonders. Convinced it’s him, Nick hopes Chance will connect the dots and speak to Alan soon. On cue, Chance arrives with news that couldn’t wait.
Phyllis tells Summer that the call Chance got was from the clinic in France that Ashley was treated at. Updated on the gas valve purchase, the farmhouse lease and the connection to Alan, Summer’s stunned. Are you saying that nice man is responsible for all this? Yes, that’s exactly what Phyllis is saying.
What are you hiding in your pocket? Alan’s suspicious. Traci goes on the defence – this conversation is frightening her. You’re so upset – this discussion’s doing more harm than good. Leave, she requests. Alan apologizes for acting like an ass – but something’s changed. When Jack knocks and calls out to Traci, he guesses she called him from the phone in her pocket.
Listen to yourself. Why would I call Jack to save me? Traci lets her siblings in. Look who else is back – were you two on the same flight? she forces a joke. Ashley can’t believe she missed Alan in Paris – I understand congratulations are in order. That may be premature, Alan sounds glum.
Phyllis isn’t happy to hear that Summer knew that Alan had a psycho twin brother who died (and didn’t tell her) Chance thinks he’s not dead – that the brother is pretending to be Alan, she adds. The person who tortured you was living in the same house as my son!? Summer’s horrified.
Chance informs that his team found a video monitor set up that was connected to the room Sharon and Phyllis were kept in and their cell phones (in the farm house)
