Arriving at the club, Claire’s annoyed when Kyle tells her that he needs to meet Audra in the lounge before joining her for dinner. He’s curious so will feed into her ego to gain info. That’s as deep as it goes – he wants to neutralize Audra.

Holden approaches Audra in the lounge – looks like you could use some company.

Having raced one another through the park, Sally thinks it’s the distraction she and Billy needed – from Phyllis. Sally’s guard is up.

Phyllis walks onto the patio to eavesdrop as Amanda talks on the phone with her boss – Lily and Devon want a meeting. I’ll handle it – that’s what you pay me for. Looks like I’m not the only one looking to get an audience with Dumas, Phyllis appears to grin.

Declining Claire’s offer to ‘referee’, Kyle thinks Audra will be more candid if they talk one on one. That’s the part that worries Claire the most. Kyle will be back before she finishes a Vesper. With a kiss, he leaves her to sulk.

Audra tells Holden to move it along – she’s waiting for someone. Nate or Kyle? Kyle. Holden’s just looking out for her, like he did in LA. Audra’s trying to forget about it ‘but you aren’t making it easy’. Holden doesn’t want to make it easy. Kyle watches from the stairs.

It’s me and you at Abbott Communications, Billy doesn’t regret his decision and thought they’d moved past the Phyllis thing. Sally’s concerned about her threats – that woman’s capable of anything.

I thought we were friends, Amanda doesn’t appreciate Phyllis ‘spying’ on her. Declaring it serendipity that they’d cross paths to help each other, Phyllis again asks her best friend to arrange a meeting with Dumas – you know I can change his mind.

With forced politeness all ways around, Holden leaves Kyle to tell Audra that he (Holden) has it bad for her. When he questions her change of attitude, she grins – you know me. I love to shake things up.

Sally doesn’t believe that Phyllis’ bark is worse than her bite. Her only focus is her son and finding a job, Billy’s sure Phyllis isn’t coming after Sally – she’d have to go through him first.

Dumas isn’t interested and Amanda can’t change his mind. Next time you’re out having a meeting with him, give me a heads up and I’ll fly to DC. Phyllis wonders why he’s so obsessed with hiding in the shadows. Amanda wonders why she’s so obsessed with him.

About to go upstairs, Holden spots Claire at the bar and joins her to order another Vesper for his friend. She orders one for her friend. He can’t believe Kyle would rather be having a drink with Audra. Informed that it’s business, Holden wonders if they once had a relationship that wasn’t ‘professional’.
