Kyle arrives at the tackhouse with flowers Nate sent over (since he’s in Chicago with Amy) Nikki warns that his arriving early to ride with the family to Cole’s memorial is sure to set Victor off.
When Adam joins him and Nick at the main house, Victor wants to discuss his actions while they were in Nice (or rather, inaction) You didn’t do what I asked of you (publishing hit pieces on Billy)
At CL’s, Chelsea tells Lily she’s sorry about Damian then stuns her with the news that Cane was in GC a couple of weeks ago.
Arriving at Cane’s suite, Phyllis is surprised he’s not staying in the penthouse. Cane will be living on his train (he has one on each continent) Hearing that someone else is joining them, Phyllis wonders who the ‘heavy hitter’ is. Billy shows up. Who’s ready to make some waves?
Claire won’t hear of Kyle sneaking into the memorial like an uninvited guest. She tells her Mom and grandmother that she won’t allow Victor to push Kyle away when she needs him the most.
Is this really necessary? Billy’s a small fish, Nick tells his Dad (who will only let Adam off the hook this time because he came to Nice with important info)
Lily’s horrified to hear that there was a way in and out of the chateau the whole time and will never forgive Cane. Chelsea wonders what he wants. Lily doesn’t know or care – she doesn’t recognize him.
Billy and Phyllis mock one another’s gifts for Cane (his a ‘choo choo train’, hers a ‘generic fruit basket’) Cane has big plans for GC so needs a small team he can trust.

Lily blames Collin for the change in Cane and when Chelsea reports that the Newmans are on guard too, wonders how they can even protect against a threat they don’t yet understand.
Nick thinks they know enough – there’s no need to drag Billy into it. Adam also wants to focus on the real threat. Victor believes Cane will make Billy a partner. He now wants to add cane to Newman Media’s hit list.
