Taking the morning off work to do some shopping, Vikki and her Mom are now on the CL’s patio. Things are good at NE and Victor’s backing off on Claire and Kyle.

Planting spies at Jabot wasn’t enough, Jack confronts Victor over his targeting of Kyle (and Claire) Unconcerned, Victor says that if Jack has trouble in his family, ‘that’s on you’.
At the Abbott mansion, Kyle expresses relief that Victor’s backing off. Updating that she told Nate the truth about Audra (in front of her) Claire reports that she’s ‘doubling down’. Is there anything you haven’t told me about Nice? Anything at all? she prods Kyle.
Nikki and Vikki discuss Victor’s claim that he was ‘testing’ Kyle. While it’s good that he’s backing off, both know he’ll never trust Kyle because he’s Jack’s son (and that feud isn’t going anywhere)
Jack knows all about Victor’s ‘special’ contract with Kyle (a fee of 5 million dollars and being run out of town if he hurts Claire) And, you used Audra in an attempt to get him to break that contract. Why would Victor reject the agreement Kyle had drawn up? Him signing it showed more guts than you’ve shown in your entire lifetime!! Victor barks.
Kyle might want to put all this behind them but Claire demands an answer. Have you told me everything that happened between you and Audra in Nice? she repeats. Flashing back to his parents telling him to ‘get out in front of this thing’, Kyle shocks Claire – there was something. He and Audra kissed in Nice.
Vikki shows her Mom the lock she carries around; Cole put a lock on a bridge in Serbia. She and Claire think Cole pulled some strings from above to make Victor change his mind on Cole. How’s Claire doing? Vikki’s worried about her.
You kissed Audra in France? Yes, in my sleeping car, Kyle sheepishly adds. He felt disgusted the entire time. Entire time!? Claire’s stunned. Kyle explains that he had to go with it long enough to expose Audra. You lied to me! Claire’s livid – What possible reason could you have for keeping this from me?!
You know what takes guts? Considering how your actions might hurt others, Jack lectures. That’s why you’re a failure and I’m not, Victor believes that Kyle loves Claire so won’t stand in their way. Prove it, Jack orders him to tear up that stupid contract he ‘made’ Kyle sign.
