At Society, Chelsea and Adam discuss the Abbott Communications launch party being postponed due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’. Victor did point out that it’s Billy’s brainchild – so ’nuff said.

Billy hopes it’s a good sign that Sally’s still there (at the house) – his plan to go after Victor/Chancellor hasn’t scared her off.

At CL’s, Kyle pushes for a reset. He has the perfect solution. Trust me, he’s sure Claire will love it.

While Chelsea’s up for some healthy competition, Adam doesn’t see Abbott Communications as competition.

You want to use Cane’s AI to launch an attack against Victor – to get Chancellor; Sally thinks it risky. Can Billy really get the better of Victor AND Cane? This could blow up in your face.

Kyle suggests they take a trip to Paris before Harrison comes home. We can leave tonight. What better way to honour your father? Claire’s tempted – but doesn’t want to run away from their problems.

Kyle persists until Ester comes over to gush that she’s always wanted to go to Paris. It’ll be magic, she leaves Claire to decline the ‘distraction’ due to work and her Mom. She can’t just move on.

Adam guarantees that Billy will micromanage Sally. She won’t let Billy tell her what to do, Chelsea’s sure.

Sally points out that Billy’s threat to use the AI is illegal and unethical. This isn’t a game. It could blow up in your face, she repeats. Stick with me, Billy implores – this could be his only shot.

Trust me, Billy repeats – time is of the essence; Cane needs to know if it’s a go. Refusing to go down this path, Sally grabs her coat and marches out.

Claire’s not upset – she’s concerned with how hard Kyle’s pushing. He’s never felt this way before and is devastated that he might be losing Claire. How can I make this right? I’ll do anything. On cue, Holden walks in.

Sally reads a message from Audra (asking what the hell’s going on) Running into Adam and Chelsea, she announces that she’s no longer part of Abbott Communications.

Sally decided to step away – AC wasn’t the right fit. Did something happen with Billy? That ass booted you like he did Phyllis, Adam rants about him losing the best CEO he could have.

Billy flashes back to Sally reading the mock newspaper article.

When Sally excuses herself to answer a call, Adam tells Chelsea that it was Billy – what has that bastard done now???

Ester brings over the perfect drink for young lovers going to Paris. Holden tells Ester that they loved her mochas (a great hangover preventative) As Kyle fumes, Holden apologizes for overstepping – and is glad his talk with Audra seems to be doing the trick. You haven’t done anything to overstep, Claire assures – has he Kyle?

Kyle went a bit overboard in telling Holden to back off. He’s heading to LA. Permanently?? Kyle’s briefly overjoyed. No, Holden’s going to close up the LA offices. Kyle suspects Holden never stopped working for Cane.

Back at the office, Adam speaks incredibly highly of Sally. I get it, you’re a fan, Chelsea’s annoyed. Why do you always give Billy the benefit of the doubt? an irritated Adam’s sure he screwed up.

Over a martini, Sally flashes back to Billy’s article in the fake GC Chronicle. At home, Billy’s doing the same thing. He calls the kids to postpone their chat – what he was going to tell them might not happen anymore.

Holden doesn’t blame Cane for Damian’s death – and no, he didn’t work for him this entire time. He’s just grateful to have a job. I bet you are, Kyle smirks. Glad that Holden’s sticking around, Claire leaves Kyle to tell Holden ‘no, we’re not good – we never will be’.

Maybe Sally just changed her mind, Chelsea scolds Adam for always thinking the worst of Billy. And you always see the good in him, Adam retorts.

Billy calls Sally to find out if she’s ending their relationship too. I don’t know ~click~ He then ignores a call from Cane and looks deeply troubled.
