At Society, Lauren quickly determines that Mike’s too distracted to hear about Chris’ wedding dress options. What’s happened??
An excited Chris can’t wait for Lauren to bring her dresses to CL’s – I can’t wait to see what she’s picked out for me. She and Danny are kissing when a clearly troubled Daniel arrives.
Phyllis is thrilled when Amanda calls to summon her to the train. Cane’s pleased to hear she’s enthusiastic – we’re gonna need everyone to bring their A-game – we’re about to launch an attack on every major company in GC.
Everything’s fine, Daniel’s just exhausted from helping Lucy with her homework (but his Dad and Chris being so over the top in love appears to make him sad)
Asking Lauren to postpone her meeting with Chris so they can spend the evening together, Mike silences a call – then gets a text from Amanda.
Phyllis rushes onto the train to tell Cane that he has a brilliant attorney in Amanda – you don’t need anyone else (meaning Mike) Cane doesn’t want to discuss his kids – and Billy’s out (he comes with too much baggage) How did he take the news? Phyllis wonders.
Billy’s not taking the news well – as is evident by him hurling his glass across the room to shatter against the wall.
Mike lies badly – the call was from a politician looking for money. Lauren gets a text from Chris – she can’t wait to see her dress choices. Mike suggests she go meet Chris – he’ll plan something romantic for later. Exiting Society, Lauren pauses to look suspicious. As soon as the coast is clear, Mike replies to Amanda – on my way.
Cane won’t reveal what changed his mind and makes it clear to Phyllis that this is HIS plan, NOT hers. Yes, Mike’s coming – is that going to be a problem?
At CL’s, Lauren tells Chris that she’s hired a photographer to meet them at Marchetti’s photo studio – so she can properly assess her choices. After the ladies leave, Danny asks his son ‘what’s really going on’?
Daniel relays Mariah’s request that he look after Tessa and Aria when she’s gone. Danny has to ask whether his internal struggle is due to his feelings for Tessa.
Lauren admires the bride-to-be as she parades around in three wedding dresses while a photographer snaps pics. Now dressed, Chris thanks her friend. Lauren always knew that she and Danny were soul mates. Like you and Mike, Chris chirps – then quickly realizes that something’s wrong.
