Meeting for a run in the park, a fit looking Sally tells a fit looking Audra that Abbott Communications might be back on track.

At Kyle’s for breakfast, Claire’s surprised when Harrison runs out. I’ve missed you so much, both say as they hug.

The core Newman family convening at the ranch, Victor reports that Cane’s calling his bluff.

In his office, Jack’s on videochat with Jill. Who’s in trouble now and how bad is it? she cuts to the chase.

Harrison’s not happy about going back to a ‘real’ school (until he hears there’ll be cupcakes) Can you guys take me to school? Yes, he hugs his Dad and Claire (who doesn’t meet Kyle’s eyes)

Good at ‘reading people’, Victor doesn’t think Cane’s ready for armageddeon. Jack came by to suggest they work together. Your father’s giving it some thought, Nikki surprises the kids.

Jill admits that she hasn’t tried to contact Billy, and that she hurt him ‘pretty badly’. Jack points out that Billy believes she’s been hard on him while giving Cane a free pass. He’s the reason, Jack reached out.

It just kinda happened, Sally still loves Billy. She tells Audra that he finally took blame for everything falling apart and begged her forgiveness. She gave him an ultimatum and he chose her over Chancellor. Are you trying to convince me or yourself, Audra has to wonder.

Back at the house, Kyle and Claire find common ground in how much they’ve missed Harrison. They go to the kitchen hand in hand for breakfast Mrs Martinez has prepared.

Victor reports that Jill’s been more of a mother to Cane than his real mother. She’s the only one besides Lily who can get close to him. Once he’s vulnerable, we crush the sonofabitch.

Do you feel I cheated Billy? Jill asks again. That’s not for Jack to say. Jill hoped for an ally – he doesn’t call me Mom, or call me at all. Why does everyone see Cane as such a threat? What has he done? Jack thinks she could come in person to find out what her surrogate son has been up to. Jack looks uncomfortable when Billy pops by his office in need of a family talk.

Sally’s not naive or stupid; her eyes are wide open. We were excited about starting our own business, Audra doesn’t want to be micromanaged by Billy. That won’t happen, Sally will put that in her contract. Audra’s onboard – but surprised to hear Abbott Communications doesn’t have funding.
