After breaking the bad news to Audra, Sally joins Billy in the jazz lounge for a ‘stiff drink’, telling the bartender ‘I’ll have what he’s having’. Billy relays his run-gin with Cane and Phyllis at the park – seems they’re having a bad day too.
Sorry to interrupt, Nick lies as he barges in to bust Noah and Sienna kissing.
Nick takes Sienna to the waiting room to ask what the hell’s going on between her and Noah – are you having an affair?
Sharon accuses Mitch/Matt of running Noah off the road. Your ‘stone cold stare’ doesn’t scare me anymore – if anyone needs to be afraid, it’s YOU!
Billy doesn’t mind Cane getting a taste of his own medicine – karma’s a bitch. No, Sally doesn’t feel bad for Cane but Abbott Communications is our priority. She gets ‘scared’ when Billy focuses on revenge – it’s like Chancellor all over again.
Sienna thinks it’s on Noah to tell his Dad what he wants him to know. She has no idea who’d want to hurt him. Your husband? Nick suggests.
Mitch/Matt understands why Sharon would be confused and upset – you raised a clever young man; he likes Noah. If they weren’t in public, Sharon would rip his eyes out. I’m the violent one? Nick assaulted ME! Mitch/Matt has never laid eyes on either of them. Don’t you dare walk away from me! Sharon grabs his arm – we’re not finished!
Billy’s enjoying watching Cane freak out; he’s happy the tables have turned and promises they’ll have the best launch ever. Sally hated having to tell Audra that she couldn’t be part of AC – yet.
Mitch was out of town the night of Noah’s crash, Sienna doesn’t know a Matt Clark. What her husband knows or doesn’t know is none of Nick’s business. Nick KNOWS it’s Matt – he’s committed horrible crimes, framed me for his murder and disappeared. How well do you know this man? he asks.
Sharon will do whatever it takes to stop ‘Matt’ from hurting her family. If you don’t stay away, I swear… What? You’re gonna kill me? Though Mitch/Matt claims he isn’t scared of her or Nick, he’s looking worried when she threatens to make him suffer before killing him (then storming out)
Have you met ‘Mitch’s’ parents? His lifelong friends? Nick asks Sienna to consider that her husband may be on to them, and responsible for Noah’s accident – ‘it’s Matt’s MO’. Sienna won’t be interrogated – her husband is NOT the monster Nick describes – and he doesn’t know about me and Noah! she leaves.
Sally’s sure that Audra will be an asset to AC and that Jill will let her bring her BF onboard. Admiring the way Sally stands by the people she cares about, Billy won’t worry about Cane if she doesn’t worry about Audra. Let’s focus on the launch.
Back in her suite, Sharon’s on the verge of tears as she leaves Phyllis a message; thanking her for the supportive texts and confiding in the one person who can relate to feelings flooding back.
Though Sally lied to Jill (by saying that Billy doesn’t have a clue that she’s the mystery investor) she and Billy must be open and honest to make this partnership work. He’s committed to cleaning up his act ‘on all fronts’.
