At CL’s, Mike tells Billy that he’s looking forward to tonight’s bachelor party – and reminds that they all got arrested when Nick’s. Ester comes out complaining about Gloria taking the entire family on a cruise – even Fen’s boyfriend made the cut. I’m stuck here slinging coffee, she sulks.
At home, Jack’s planning a low-key evening – no cigars, no strippers. Commenting that her hairdresser has a stomach bug, Diane answers the front door. I thought you said no strippers, she opens the door for Nikki.
Phyllis leaves a message for Lauren – then gets a call from Sharon; who asks her to come over to talk about Nick (who then surprises her by dropping by).
A bruised and bloody Matt is back in his motel room. Who thought I’d end up back here? he mutters.
Serving Billy and Sally, Ester relays that Chloe feels bad that she can’t attend Sally’s bachelorette party. ‘Everyone rates a good time except me’. When Sally invites her to the party, Ester’s so excited – you won’t be disappointed, she scurries off. You most certainly WILL be disappointed, Mike quips as he leaves.
Chelsea and Audra arrive at CL’s – excited for your big nights? You’re both glowing. No, it’s not a bad thing that you invited Ester, Sally’s reassured – but we do have some news.
Diane assumes Nikki’s not offended by her joke. That kind of work is such a grind (how ‘punny’) Nikki’s there on a personal matter. After Jack excuses himself to take a call from a supplier, Diane snarls – Can you go one day without showing up on my doorstep? It’s Jack’s doorstep too, Nikki points out.
(For some odd reason) Sharon was afraid Nick wouldn’t like the changes she made to the house. He’s puzzled when Phyllis arrives.
Think, Matt, think – you don’t have any money. I should call Phyllis – and warn everyone that Patty escaped. Or I could do none of those things, he frowns at himself in the mirror.
Insults go back and forth until. Nikki knows Diane’s apology for her stupid joke was ‘performative’. She saw no need to discuss Vibrante with Victor – it’s MY company. You want a war, you’ve got it.
