Oops – Nick forgot to tell Sharon that he can’t take Faith to school. Go ahead, Sage encourages. She and the baby need sleep anyway. Get some rest, Nick leaves with a kiss (but paused to look troubled in the hallway)
As Avery and Summer discuss the interview Kevin wants them to do, Avery gets a call and needs to hurry out. Summer offers to stay and help Joe work out.
When Nick arrives, Dylan cleans Faith up. Sharon’s updated on Sage’s condition – she could have taken Faith to school (she was just saying she wanted more time with her Mom) Nick shuts her up – you just can’t help yourself can you?
Chelsea brings flowers for Sage (who blathers on about her miracle baby) Chelsea’s supportive – the baby’s strong and so are you. She then relays how supportive ‘Gabe’s been. We have a deep connection, but some issues too. He was really worried about you. I even wondered ….. Wondered what? If he’s the Father of your child.
Sage thinks flowers go well with ‘are you sleeping with two men at the same time’? She actually thought Chelsea was being genuine. Don’t worry about being saddled with Gabe’s kid. It’s not his. Adam arrives – what’s going on? I’m telling her this baby isn’t yours. We already went over this, Adam reminds Chelsea (which pisses Sage off even more) No, you shouldn’t have come here – get OUT! But when she sends Adam after his ‘paranoid’ girlfriend, he points out that it could be his baby. No – it can’t! Sage insists.
Sage is in hospital worried about her unborn child and you’re looking to use it to your advantage? Nick snarls. Sharon will chalk it up to him being tired and upset. I’m just trying to help. Dylan appears – is this what you want Faith to hear???
Why can’t anyone admit I’m right? Sharon would have gone to prison if we didn’t keep digging, Kevin whines. This documentary is a public service. Mariah doesn’t want her history with Ian and the cult being made public. Avery appears to say that putting themselves in the public eye is risky. So’s leaving a killer out there, Kyle’s slowly coming around. Avery pulls Kyle aside – going public could be a disaster for Summer.
Summer and Joe chat – about her and Austin marrying too soon (as did Joe and Avery) His work out done, Joe expresses how grateful he is to Avery. Hopefully he’ll walk again one day. Now alone, Joe puts earbuds in and is standing at the counter (his back to the door) when Summer walks back in, stunned to see him vertical and having a drink.
As Summer backs out and closes the door, Joe turns around (without seeing her)
Avery worries that the public may think Summer killed her husband to reunite with her first love. She doesn’t oppose the relationship – but take things slow. Sometimes, no matter how much you want something, the timing’s wrong.
Mad at Mommy again? Faith comes out to greet her Dad. No. Nick’s mad at himself for being late. After they leave, Sharon tells Dylan that Nick sees her as the enemy – she was only trying to help. He’s stressed out – all he’s thinking about is his baby, Dylan’s words don’t exactly appease Sharon.
Don’t you ever say that about this baby! Why are you hovering? ADAM – what are you even doing here? You’re making up lies. Me and Nick made this baby! Sage pants. It’s a miracle….aghhh it’s Nick’s! Get OUT!!!! Adam looks torn – the monitors are beeping furiously.
Nick rejoins Sage – the nurse told me your blood pressure spiked? Sage is fine – Chelsea and then Gabe’s visits excited her. Nick will have his own talk with Gabe – tell him not to come near her or the baby. No, you can’t! Sage puzzles him.
Chelsea’s still in the office when Gabe updates that Sage kicked him out too. Chelsea feels horrible for bothering Sage and not trusting Gabe. He understands – he’s done nothing but lied. From now on, it’s the truth (including the truth about Sage’s baby)
Sharon coaches Dylan on the temperamental espresso machine. When she whines about having too much time on her hands, Dylan suggests she get a job. The Abbott’s and Newman’s can’t own the whole town. You can do it – and I’ll help!
Summer’s panting as she catches Avery at the police station – it’s about Joe. OMG – what happened? Avery panics. He’s OK – he’s better than OK. You have no idea, Summer replies.
Doing a hypothetical job interview, Sharon explains why she left her last job (Phyllis fired her blah blah) Dylan tells her to try again. OK – Sharon’s position was phased out. Mr Neil Winters would give her a good recommendation – he’d probably say compassion is one of her best traits. Dylan’s so impressed he hires Sharon.
Chelsea had no right to question Sage – it’s not about Adam lying; it’s about the way she was raised; I’m screwed up. Adam wants Chelsea to believe in his feelings for her. Everything he’s told her is true – I’m not going anywhere ~hug~
Forget about Gabe – just sit with me. I’m here. I’m not going anywhere, Nick assures Sage. This baby might be my only chance, she whines. Nick’s seen his kids get their hearts broken this year. This baby is a silver lining. The thought of anything happening to either one of you ….. ~kiss~
