Travis claims he isn’t using Vikki to get into NE and he didn’t use Michelle. Victor approached ME. I’ve learned my lesson. Ashley’s not playing games, she’s genuinely concerned and warns that if Travis is working for Victor, he may not be able to stay out of the Abbott/Newman war.

Dylan’s made mac n cheese (Cassie’s favourite recipe) A forkful shoveled into her mouth, Sharon perks up – she didn’t mean to worry Dylan (who vows to find this creep and do whatever it takes to protect his family)

Patty hums as she happily paints away.

Still wearing her gloves Mariah drops the cell phone into the trash can at the park and runs off

Arriving at TofT for dinner, Ben’s happy that Abby doesn’t want to go over and say hello to her parents, then launches into an aggressive problem-solving pitch that turns Abby off.

Spotting the Rayburns, Victor dissuades his guests from calling Abby and Ben over. He then raves about what a great first day Travis had and hopes Vikki does well at BnS. Vikki’s not any happier when Travis brings up the threat Jabot poses and is instructed (by Victor) to deal with it.

Dylan heads back to the station, leaving Mariah to update Sharon that she dumped the phone in a place it’ll be found. No one will know the truth about what happened.

Travis continues to dazzle with his business knowledge and answers questions about his family; his Father sold boats, his Mother was a part-time teacher. He put himself through school and did OK trading on Wall Street. Victor knows Travis did more than OK – and can now have it all back. The sky’s the limit.

Abby gripes about Ben’s approach – it’s OK to be analytical at work but he must let his walls down with her. Asked about when he first fell for Abby, Ben details watching her sleep one morning. He wanted to keep her safe and happy. She woke up and gave him the most incredible smile and kiss. When did YOU know? he asks. Same for me, she lies.

Kevin reports having no luck at 6 of the 8 places on their list but as soon as he sits at his desk, gets a signal from Chancellor Park. He and Dylan rush out of the station.

Mariah’s glad the bartender said something – the park’s a better way to go. She turned the phone on and put it in the trash. The cops will think it was a random theft. Crisis over. It’s NOT over, Sharon must still figure out what to do about Patty’s demands.

Abby nods and forces a smile. Yes, it’s amazing that she fell for Ben at the exact same time he fell for her. Summoned back to work, he declares this a good first step; we’ll talk tonight. After Ben leaves, Ashley joins Abby to say that goodbye kiss she witnessed was a good sign. Yes, we’re gonna work on things, Abby updates. Why don’t you seem happy about it? Ashley wonders.
