Mariah confesses that she stole the flowers. Chloe didn’t see the card or know they were for her. What the hell!? Kevin’s pissed. Mariah was just protecting him – isn’t that what friends do? Listening from the sofa, Sharon shrugs. When Mariah marches upstairs, Sharon tells a puzzled Kevin to open his eyes.

Back at the station, Paul and Dylan run Bethany’s name – age 32 with a couple of priors for underage drinking. But what’s her motive to frame Adam? Paul goes to get a warrant. But first, he hands Dylan his badge and gun. You can’t do your job without em. Let’s go.

Not happy that Adam will be out of prison, Chloe insists Victor let her get her own justice for Delia – or it’s not over. Now it’s my turn, Victor says….

Phyllis agrees that Vikki’s lucky Travis isn’t around to remind her of what she sacrificed. But this isn’t about you, it’s about Summer. Phyllis is begging Vikki – step up for your family. OK, Vikki will go see Travis. You always have me to talk to, Phyllis is someone who ‘gets it’.

Jack wished he was able to curb his own instincts. Maybe then he wouldn’t be going home to an empty house. Billy relays that Vikki just told him that she and the kids missed out on sailing around the world with Travis. She made that decision without me (but for me) At what point do you stop holding someone back? When kids are involved, Jack answers – marriage, family, stability are things that last – and that’s what Jack wants with Phyllis. I’m in this for the long haul.

Victor thinks Chloe’s concerns unfounded. He said he’d wrap things up when he got the journal pages to clear Adam. The suspicions against you will be gone. The plan is in motion.

Police! Open up! We have a warrant! Paul, Dylan and the cops find what they assume to be Bethany’s motel room in a mess. She left in a hurry but forgot these (a selection of wigs)

Next: I’ll keep it real short. Stay the hell away from my wife! Jack orders Victor … You are playing a very dangerous game, Ashley warns Phyllis – and you have so much to lose … You’ve got to be kidding me, Paul says as Dylan pulls folded paper out of an electrical socket.

My Thoughts: It seems obvious that Phyllis isn’t so much worried about Summer marrying Luca as she is trying to push Vikki towards Travis to avoid any chance of her reconciling with Billy … How is it legal for Kevin to spy on the bus station lockers without any warrant or authorization? Do the staff and travelers who use the lockers know that they’re being spied on by the police – or worse, a man whose history includes bouts of severe mental instability, arson, statutory rape, armed robbery, burglary etc. etc.? Is there even a sign stating ‘this location under camera surveillance’? Why do bus stations have lockers anyway? So Bethany’s just going to haul around a bag holding 3 million in cash? Why on earth wouldn’t Victor have one of his guys or his driver make sure Bethany gets on a plane? Wouldn’t he have a mild interest on where she landed? Is he just going to trust that Bethany takes the time to Google and see what countries have no extradition treaty with the US? How does he know she has no prospects and a humdrum life? Does anyone not on their 10th marriage and who hasn’t been presumed dead or imprisoned have a boring existence? I’d take humdrum over Newman/Abbott drama anyday thanks … Why would Billy think that Vikki loved Travis? She barely knew him. And why does he pretend he’d even entertain the idea of his kids sailing around the world with a complete stranger? Travis’ boat is hardly big enough for him, never mind adding Vikki and her 3 kids. And if Billy’d be a hard sell, JT and Mac surely wouldn’t allow Reed to go along (he’s probably in his late teens by now) … What the hell would Mariah know about husband and wife relations? That said, she’s right. And it’s very immature and selfish of Dylan to sleep on the couch over something so petty. Why have Faith worry for nothing? … Who’s been tending to Delia’s roadside memorial would come organize my garden. Is someone bringing fresh flowers and teddy bears daily or are they just immune to the elements?
