If Ashland’s in the computer, it sounds like the plan’s in motion. Adam can kick him out or let him continue – it’s Vikki’s plan, so her call. She likes Adam’s idea, let’s run with it. Vikki will tell Ashland that her Father insists Adam stay put. Ashland will become obsessed with proving that Adam framed him. This plan feeds into Ashland’s delusions. Vikki thanks everyone for being on the same page.
A conflicted Billy’s dealing with a moral dilemma – does he stick his nose in or stay out???
Adam? Are you in there? Sally presses her ear against the office door. Why was your door locked? she asks when Adam appears. Let’s go somewhere and get a drink, he suggests.
At Society, Adam tells Sally the plan to frame Ashland.
Ashland tries but fails to get info from Mike.
At the apartment, Lily’s sickened by Ashland’s lie. Billy’s surprised Vikki didn’t kick him to the curb. Vikki must find a way to deal with this.
Back at the office, Victor will keep Ashland in line. Nikki vows the plan will work – Ashland doesn’t deserve Vikki or the company. Vikki knew she had to be the one to fix this – she felt, shame and anger. Nikki holds her crying daughter.
Running into Mike at CL’s, Ashland comments on his adventure. So, the charges didn’t stick huh? Bogus charges rarely go, Mike points out. Like the bogus charges against Ashland? Mike’s dying to see how this works out. Ashland’s left to look troubled.
At Society’s bar, Sally wishes the Newmans would show Adam the respect he deserves. Nick appears in need of a word. He agrees Sally can stay. We need to know we can trust you.
Lily knows Billy didn’t seek this out – but, you don’t have to ride to Vikki’s rescue. You’re not responsible for her wellbeing.
Vikki puts on her happy face when she joins Ashland at CL’s to update that she told her family they’re staying to prove that Adam was framed. Ashland wants to know the bad news.
Still at Society, Nick lectures Adam – you only care about how it affects you. Do you really think I’m capable of screwing over the family to take what’s not mine? Adam’s aghast. Absolutely, but Nick also knows that Adam’s changed.
Lily thinks Billy should contain his need to protect Vikki. She’s not jealous or threatened and is proud of Billy’s progress. I Love You. I love you too ~kiss~
Nikki’s worried about this plan – and Vikki. She hates that it’s come to this. Victor won’t allow any harm to come to Vikki. We’re working together to get rid of Ashland.
You’re not going to like this, Vikki updates Ashland – my Father’s keeping Adam on as CEO. Maybe it’s good that he’ll be in one place; we can keep an eye on him. she vows to redeem Ashland in her family’s eyes. I won’t let them take you away from me. Adam must be exposed. Locke has a few ideas. Tell me, Vikki implores. Not yet – he needs to let these ideas percolate.
You admit I’ve changed but you still don’t trust me, Adam’s insulted. Newmans always show up for each other – like you did for Faith. You can be the man you aspire to be, Adam’s told – Look at the bigger picture for the family – for YOU.
