Dom out with the nanny, Abby invites Chance to visit him any time. He appreciates the flexibility and promises to make Dom a priority. Take care – see you soon. He pauses but doesn’t turn around when Abby cries that she’s sorry.

No, Diane doesn’t think they should call the police and she can’t go into the witness protection program. She fought too hard to get back to him, Kyle and Harrison. Jack’s worried for her safety. Diane might have another way out of this.

Ashley’s not convinced that Tucker’s changed and doesn’t want to reconcile – but you are persistent, she chuckles. Have a nice day. You too, he’s left to finish his drink.

Chance is sorry too – no one person’s at fault here; we got married too fast, had a kid too fast. He left on assignment too fast etc. etc. We’re two different people who need different things. We were doomed since the beginning. Abby cries some more – don’t say that. Disconnected from the feelings he once had for Abby, he pauses briefly before leaving her to cry alone.

Lily wants to get past this but don’t rush me, or Devon. She also won’t tell Nate why Amanda resigned. That’s none of your concern now, she adds as she spots Devon arriving.

Back at the house, Jack thinks the plan makes sense; Kyle’s to take Diane to the cabin to hide out. Let Stark and everyone else think she’s ran off scared. At the mention of Phyllis, Jack throws his arms up – will this war never end!? Calmed down with a hug, Jack meets Ashley’s eyes as she comes in the door to glare at him.

At the front door, Diane and Jack whisper about her going to get her things so Kyle can drive her to the cabin. Loudly, for Ashley’s benefit, she thanks him for everything but can’t put the family at risk. I hope you’re happy, Diane’s leaving town thanks to you and your friends – she may never return! Jack shouts at Ashley.

At CL’s, Chance mopes to Sharon – he’s numb but relieved. This divorce had to happen.

As soon as Devon walks in, Nate asks about Amanda (and is again told to mind his own business) Taking a table, Lily tells him that Jill wants to move forward with the IPO. Do you think Tucker’s still up to something?

On the way to her room, Diane performs her goodbye act again. Tucker’s offer to loan her some money to get on her feet is met with a slap.

You’ll never win Ashley back or outsmart Jack, Diane has half a mind to warn Devon not to trust Tucker. Whater your plans are, they’ll fail, epically, she slams the door to her suite.

Jack blasts Ashley – you could get someone killed. Maybe Phyllis was the one who called Stark but that doesn’t matter, you’ve gone too far!

Wanting more time to find out if Tucker’s up to anything, Devon’s not happy to hear that Lily’s receptive to Nate’s groveling. He wants our forgiveness and you want Amanda’s. Is it really so different?

Watching Abby’s arrival, Devon explains the differences; Nate took the time to plot and has no regrets. He and Abby just happened; we regret it. Nate watches with interest as Devon jumps up to follow Abby.

Sharon will be here ready to listen whenever Chance wants to talk.

Coming out of the kitchen, Abby tells Devon that Chance packed his things and left. It’s really over ~hug~ Devon’s sorry.

While Jack’s at home worrying over a drink, Diane packs; pausing to clutch a framed photo of a her, Jack and a much younger Kyle.

Next Week: This is a touchy subject for you, isn’t it? Nate asks Devon – makes me wonder what you could have done to mess things up with Amanda…. Billy – I don’t think there’s anything you need to apologize for. That’s nice of you to say but we both know that’s not true, Chelsea disagrees. We’re talking about what happened in Myanmar, he guesses … Tucker asks what Ashley would say if he asked her to quit the family business to build her own empire.
