At Society, Daniel finally persuades Lily to confide in him. I feel like I’m losing Billy, or we’re losing each other, she sighs.

In the apartment, Chelsea insists on doing this – for her sake and Billy’s. Yes, we’re talking about what happened in Myanmar, the night Johnny was conceived.

In Nate’s office, Vikki’s surprised three times. 1. Nate’s scheduled a meeting with a K-pop star. 2. He’s asked Elena to come along (on cue, she texts to say she can’t go) Surprise #3 is Devon – he needs to speak to Nate – alone.

We’re having a meeting here, Nate points out. No worries, Vikki’s done. Take care of yourself, she says to Devon on her way out. To his credit, he manages a polite smile – then makes it clear that Nate’s to stop asking personal questions, specifically about Amanda.

Over drinks, Lily ‘overshares’ her conflict. No, nothing romantic’s going on between Billy and this woman – but he’s made her the center of his universe. They have a weird dependency on each other. It feels like it’s just a symptom.

Eyes glistening, Chelsea admits that Billy was initially just another mark to her. You got thrown in prison for doing nothing wrong. The sex wasn’t consensual. You were high out of your mind. She realizes now how wrong it was.

After school, Connor and Johnny have been dropped off separately at CL’s. Sharon greets Chance and serves the boys their hot chocolate.

Abby’s brought Dom to Daddy Devon’s. Things have been a bit sad since Chance left but will be OK, she assures.

Having talked to Imani, Devon knows that Nate asked her about Amanda too. Touchy subject, Nate has to wonder what Devon did to mess things up with her.

Chance has a lot of things going on inside. He’d rather talk things out with Sharon than hit the gym. He worries how all this will all affect Dom; I failed. Sharon disagrees – look at everything those boys have gone through. That’s Dom’s future.

Daniel doesn’t think Lily and Billy are losing each other. You may need to set some boundaries or maybe Billy IS this noble and maybe this woman really does need him this much right now.

Chelsea drugged Billy – you were in no condition to consent to anything. He walked on the wild side and enjoyed every minute of it. Johnny will have questions one day about how I met his Dad. You didn’t remember anything. No, Billy doesn’t but he loves their son so wouldn’t change it. But, if anything like that happened to him (his face clouds over) Chelsea’s so sorry.

Wallowing isn’t the answer. The boys seem to have it all worked out – maybe we should ask them for advice, Sharon quips.

Abby shows Dom a framed photo of grandpa Neil. He and grandpa Victor were really good friends – like me and your Daddy. She’s not sure what will happen to their friendship.

Nate knows Amanda’s not in Virginia because Naya’s condition changed. Before she left, she came to ask me to make things right with you. Then Chance showed up and Amanda took him over to your place. Now Amanda’s gone – what did I miss? he asks Devon.

Johnny shows Connor a game he can download so they can play online. Both their Mom’s make them do chores and stuff before they can play games. Connor’s just glad he can be with his.

Looking over at the boys, Sharon challenges Chance to go over and see what they’re smiling about.

The last time Nate talked to Amanda, it was clear she was in love with Devon. You’re all holier than thou but maybe you’ve made mistakes too. I owned up to what I planned to do – you don’t have the guts to admit what you actually did to Amanda.

Billy’s doing a good thing – but the better it makes HIM feel, the more he wants to do it. Tell me I’m misreading the situation. Daniel can’t do that – if Lily sees red flags … No one can change anyone else unless they want to change. And where does that leave you?

Connor and Sharon watch on with smiles and Johnny tells Chance all about the Moonlight Mayhem game (possibly being downloaded to Chance’s phone)

Still at Devon’s, Abby continues her one-sided talk with Dom. I had another Dad too, Brad. I had a lot of love around me, just like you have. Things are going to get better, she promises.

Nate makes himself clear – we’re not family or colleagues; there’s no need for you to stop by here again. Don’t give me reason to, stay out of my business and my life, how about that? Devon slams out.

Lily’s happy she could share things like this with Daniel. Yes, she feels better- thank you. She hopes this is a rough patch she and Billy can work through. Daniel really hopes Billy can bring her the happiness she deserves.

Billy appreciates the apology. Johnny’s happy and healthy. You can move on now too. What happened was a lifetime ago. Chelsea won’t ask for forgiveness – what I did was unforgivable. She’s grateful for Billy’s kindness, it’s more than I deserve.
