When Heather brings Lucy to his suite, the young girl is clearly nervous to be around her Dad. He apologizes for the pain and confusion he caused her. Tears in his eyes, he doesn’t blame her. Lucy talks about him being a different person – I rarely saw you. It was like you were mad at the world all the time. You took it out on us, she cries. You went from the most amazing Dad to someone I didn’t recognize. Daniel’s sorry he pushed them away. I’ve got my act together – because I couldn’t stand not having you in my life. Lucy can see that her Dad’s changed.

Ally and Ashley are soon talking about the scientific part of cosmetics and laugh about a chemical reaction blowing something up in the lab. The ‘chemists’ talks somehow leads to talk about stability and ‘dominance’ in relationships. Ashley thanks the youngster for giving her an interesting idea.

Yes, that’s a good way of putting it; Nate and Elena are not in synch – due to our hours we’re two ships that pass in the night. Vikki relays Victor’s praise – you’re prudent and open minded; traits we value. By the time Nate gets around to Audra, Tucker arrives to interrupt. Nate leaves with his takeout but Tucker thinks Vikki will want to stick around and hear what he has to say.

Remember the video game we used to play? Bringing light into the darkness? Daniel tells Lucy about his gaming platform – how it gave him a new goal and purpose. It’s going to become a reality, he shows her sketches on his tablet. It’s called Finding Louisa. Whaddaya think? Louisa looks just like me. She is you; you’re my princess.

At home, Elena’s bored by Nate going on and on about the Newmans valuing his ideas; he’s no longer being shot down. Vikki made Mike Baldwin let him sit in on a meeting. He apologizes for talking her ear off. How was your day? Long – Elena would like to go on that vacation Nate talked about. Soon, he promises. How soon?

Diane brings out the worst in people, Jeremy wants to talk to Phyllis out of the public eye. No. Why not? Because people who get involved with you regret it. Not everyone, not people like you, Jeremy persists. What’s that supposed to mean? she asks.

Jeremy scoffs at the notion that Phyllis working with him to get rid of Diane would cross her moral boundaries. She can share in the satisfaction of watching her go down or watch from the sidelines. Call me it it’s the former, he leaves Phyllis to mull it over.

Good luck with your video game, Lucy hands the tablet back to her Dad. Heather thinks they should go back to their suite and get some sleep. She’s staying lone enough to see her Dad and Christine. Yes, they’ll have breakfast with Daniel. See you tomorrow. Without further word or physical contact, Lucy walks out. Heather follows.

Nate can’t take time off now – there’s so much going on. When would be a good time? Elena needs time to get her shifts covered. Never mind – she goes upstairs to shower and go to bed.

Tucker stuns Vikki with the news that he’s cashing out; he’s selling McCall Unlimited; every division – every bit of it.
