At the office, Vikki assigns Nate to some high-profile meetings. She agrees that some won’t approve of him taking Nick’s place but doesn’t care.

Running into Audra at CL’s, Kyle mentions it being her first day as Newman Media’s CEO. They disagree on Vikki’s motives for replacing Nick with Nate. Kyle’s very familiar with how the Newmans take care of their own – it’s not always about love.

When Nikki chases him down in the park, Adam frowns – and what can I do for YOU? I’m very sorry for your loss, she says with sincerity.

Sharon’s still obsessing over Cameron and the box he sent her from beyond the grave. I hope he’s burning in hell, she tells Nick.

Vikki’s impressed but not surprised that Nate’s well prepared for the Babcock meeting. Having the power to change the lives and the future of this company is intoxicating – but not as intoxicating as Vikki ~kiss~

Kyle knows that ‘things get pretty extreme’ when someone crosses the line with the Newmans. Audra saw the same in Tucker – know what you want, hone in on it and the universe rewards you. She didn’t say anything about ‘playing nice’ though.

Adam questions Nikki’s sincerity. She’s speaking as a fellow parent who knows his loss. You made the right choice. Thank God you saved Sally’s life. Adam scoffs at a God who would give him such a choice. Despite Nikki’s repeated attempts, he rejects her empathy and stomps off.

Sharon doesn’t regret killing Cameron but wishes she could move past it. When Nick offers his full support, Sharon has an idea – you’ll have to get your hands dirty. Whatever it takes, Nick doesn’t hesitate.

After Sharon puts the contents of Cameron’s box into a metal garbage can, Nick douses it with lighter fluid and hands Sharon the matches. Both watch the fire.

At Society, Adam’s on his phone saying he wants to crush Newman Media. Victor arrives – Nikki’s worried about you, and so am I.

What on earth? Nikki’s alarmed by something she sees on her phone.

Wanting to grow Newmans’ global real estate, Vikki proposes a business trip to Europe – that’s what the jet’s for. We’re free to be together. My bag’s already packed, Nate obediently leaves Nikki to express her disapproval that Nate’s meeting Babcock alone – is it your intention to keep Nick away from Newman for good?
