Convinced that Tucker will gain control of Jabot, Audra denies seducing Kyle to get him onboard. We can run Jabot together (which is more than Jack and Diane are offering you) Though Kyle huffs and puffs, Audra points out that he hasn’t said ‘no’.
I’m not participating in this, Kyle buttons up his shirt. Audra wants him to do what’s best for himself instead of settling for whatever crumbs his family throws his way. Tucker and I can give you the opportunity Jack won’t. It’d be the mistake of a lifetime to turn this down.
Jack doesn’t believe that Phyllis would work with Tucker against them. She won’t do anything to hurt Summer (who’d be affected by a Jabot/Marchetti takeover)
Tucker knows Phyllis has been feeding Jack info. You didn’t think you could play both sides, did you? When she calls him paranoid, he pulls out his phone to play a snippet of Jack telling Billy that she (Phyllis) has something on Tucker. Curious as to what’s going on, Daniel and Summer join their Mom. After Tucker leaves, they threaten to walk out if she doesn’t fess up.
Back at the house, Jack suggests they feed Tucker bogus info. Naw, Billy thinks he’d catch on in a heartbeat.
Phyllis explains that she used her hacking skills to help Jack – Tucker purchased listening devices. He found out but he’s met his match. I’m the good guy – helping the Abbotts, she insists. Daniel and Summer disapprove – why couldn’t you just say no to Jack and Tucker? I truly, truly give up, Phyllis walks off.
Daniel and Summer apologize – maybe they haven’t been fair but they don’t like their Mom being on Tucker’s radar – don’t do anything stupid. Phyllis is far from stupid. When her phone pings, she needs to get back to the office. The kids are left to wonder what Mom’s up to.
Billy wants to stop giving Tucker the satisfaction of playing his game. We should just release the dirt we have on him. Kyle rushes in to claim that everything’s fine. What’s wrong? Jack can see that he’s not fine.
Phyllis goes to Tucker’s suite to say that she’s holding all the cards, again. She did a deep dive of his purchases for Jack and found a connection to Maime Johnson. You don’t want it getting out that you two are silent partners. How should we proceed?
