Heather and Daniel chat at Society about Lucy. He’s looking for an apartment so Lucy has a space of her own at his place. He’ll keep an eye out for a place for Heather.

Victor and Nick take turns punching the long bag. Adam says you confused the two of us. He misheard me, Victor wonders why he’d say nonsense like that.

Go away Adam! Sally says as Adam bangs on her door.

Adam just wants to see how Sally is – it’s about that kiss, isn’t it? Nick wouldn’t revoke his funding. He’s ending the relationship – but Sally will be fine. I’m not looking for a hero.

Claire leaves Nikki to interrogate Vic – what’s got you rattled? Claire literally runs into Nate in the hallway.

At the club’s bar, Nick hopes his Dad won’t overdue it but doesn’t want to come back to Newman. He then has to remind Victor that Mom’s running Newman Media, not Vikki.

Daniel didn’t tell you? I told him a couple of days ago – but didn’t decide til this morning. Heather misses living in the States. Daniel asks Lily about working at CW. Heather thanks Lily for agreeing to look into it.

Nate formally introduces himself to Claire. She gushes about the togetherness at Newman. He’s glad she’s settling in – see you around.

Vikki’s not rattled – Nick still refuses to come back to Newman. Something’s going on between him, Adam and Sally, Nikki agrees. As for Victor – calling Adam, Nick was a slip up. When Nate arrives they both downplay it.

Victor thinks Vikki’s coming around – and Adam’s happy being Nate’s assistant. Whose face was Nick envisioning on the punching bag.

Even strong people need to vent, Adam encourages – lemme have it – don’t hold back.

Heather thanks Daniel for supporting her decision – we’ll be a family again. Daniel will let her know about school and an apartment. Now alone, Lily confirms that Daniel’s really OK with this? Of course he wants Lucy back in GC.

You could have told me, Lily insists – it’s not like you’re going to get back with Heather. She hopes it doesn’t cause Daniel to spiral again. He won’t – he has a great career and relationship with Lily – no more demons.

Nick’s done with Adam – he doesn’t deserve Sally. He’ll do to her what he did to Sharon – the whole obsessive thing.

Sally doesn’t need Adam’s declarations of love – leave me alone. Stop taking away my happiness. I’m exhausted, she cries. It was amazing until it wasn’t. Nick’s a good man – he loves me. I was in a really good place, working through my grief, happy. Why can’t you just let me go? And why can’t I let go of you.

The rest is from memory…..

After Victor makes another one of his ‘slip ups’, Nick tells his sister and Nate that she’s right (while Victor monitors the success his charade is having)

Now that he’s pulled the confession from Sally, Adam leaves her to sob.

Lily continues to pretend she’s not worried about Heather (though she definitely should be)
