Over coffee at CL’s, Lauren doesn’t like going against Victor’s wishes. Nikki will handle him. She then confides that someone at their AA meetings encouraged Seth to reach out to her.

Seth tells Jordan that Nikki sees him as a mess. Reaching out to a friend takes strength, Jordan’s sure he’ll see her again. Seth thinks Jordan should take her own advice and reach out to Nikki herself. We should all go to a meeting together. What aren’t you telling me? he wonders when Jordan rejects the idea.

Chloe thinks this the worst idea ever. This has nothing to do with my relationship with Adam, Sally protests. Newman is a power house – we won’t have to hustle for clients. We’ll lose our autonomy, Chloe’s not convinced – getting into bed with Adam was a huge mistake (no pun intended) – getting into bed with Newman would be a bigger one (no really, they totally passed on the obvious pun)

Jordan can’t face Nikki, even at an AA meeting. She’s just trying to help Seth reconnect with her. This is what we do – help each other.

Victor’s very worried about Nikki – she wants to set a trap for Jordan, he updates Nick. Victor’s plan is to pull strings to get Claire remanded into Vikki’s custody. Nick doesn’t like the idea. Claire wants Jordan behind bars as much as we do, Victor’s mind is made up.

When Adam arrives, Chloe makes a hasty exit – don’t make any decisions. Sally softens when asking about Connor. Not knowing must be hard, she gives Adam a comforting hug.

Sally gives Adam a pep talk, she invites him to sit. Yes, Chloe’s pissed about his plan – she’s not your biggest fan. Adam wonders if Sally’s mad that he took the idea to his Dad and Nick before asking her.

The message Victor will relay to Jordan is that he wants to make amends – that he’s sorry for what happened to Eve. If Jordan thinks she pulled the wool over my eyes, I can turn the tables on her.

Chelsea’s at CW to update Billy that Connor might have OCD. It’s big and scary. Adam’s spiraling – he’s terrified, we both are. Billy’s glad Sharon was able to calm them down. For now, we wait. Connor’s confused, Chelsea has to go see her son. Billy insists on driving her ~hug~

Adam just wanted to make sure his idea was possible before bringing it to Sally – sorry, I screwed up. Sally can see why he didn’t tell her first. The power of Newman would open a lot of doors – but, has Victor even made up his mind?

Where the hell have you been? Victor asks when Lauren and Nikki come home. We agreed you wouldn’t leave the house. Defending Lauren, Nikki being cooped up reminds her of being locked up at the lake house and makes her want to drink.

Jordan wants to live vicariously through Seth. He’s not sure Nikki wants to leave the ranch again – too many temptations. Living in a glass tower isn’t the way to stay sober. Jordan thinks that getting her out of her shell is the best way to help their dear friend.

Victor’s ready to put the second phase of his plan into motion. It won’t be much longer, he reassures a pouty Nikki.

My Thoughts: If Nikki’s curtains are going to be featured so prominently, would it have killed someone in wardrobe to give them a quick steam? …. Nikki’s been under Victor’s control so long, their toxic relationship portrayed as enduring love for so long that it doesn’t even seem that unusual that to hear Nikki, a grown woman with free agency, resort to begging Lauren to get her out of her house. Nikki’s not Victor’s captor. The chauffeurs work for her as much as they do Victor (and she’s no stranger to calling a ‘ride-share’) Holding Nikki hostage, even with good intentions, won’t keep her sober. And if her sobriety is this precarious, why isn’t she in rehab? … Sharon didn’t tell Adam and Chelsea anything they couldn’t have learned online, nor anything that couldn’t have been relayed during the phone call. The best part of the day’s show was Sharon’s awkward exit – I guess it wasn’t written in the script which one of them was supposed to close the door…. What’s the point in sending Sharon a list of child psychologists? Unless she poured them coffee at CL’s, it’s doubtful she’d know them. There’s no reason Adam and Chelsea can’t read Yelp reviews. And, has everyone forgotten Connor’s grandpa can afford the best money can buy? …. Live of the day goes to Chloe. ‘We built this business from nothing’. Um – it still IS nothing (except a lease agreement for office space they’re never at and can’t afford) Does the business even have a name? … If Victor’s so worried about Nikki, who isn’t he brooding about it at his chess board instead of behind his desk at Newman?
