Going over the menu, Audra and Tucker look forward to their trip to Paris. It’s a business trip, she reminds. Something’s got your attention and it’s not me, she demands to know what it is.

Ashley had to tell Tucker to his face. He thought I had some agenda (and I don’t blame him) Ashley’s happy to be rage-free and at peace. This doesn’t change things between you and Tucker, right? Traci asks.

At Society, Vikki and Cole tell Mike that they’re opposed to Victor using Claire as a pawn. Let the police catch Jordan. Surely, Mike can’t be onboard with this.

Visiting Claire, Victor’s impressed by how perceptive she is. We want the same thing – Jordan behind bars. And so, Victor’s having Mike arrange for her early release. Claire feels safe where she is. How would it even be possible? Leave it to me, Victor assures.

Claire gets it – Jordan will call to tell me how horrible the Newmans are. Do I have a say in this? What if I said I wasn’t ready to leave yet? Victor would accept that – but surely you want what’s best for your family. Your recovery is important to all of us, including me. That means a lot to Claire, she’d like time to think about it. Pleased to be welcoming another granddaughter into the family, Victor tells Claire to Call Mike if she wants to be released.

Mike sells Cole and Vikki on Victor’s plan. What’s your take on Claire’s progress? She’s opening up to us. The doctors feel she’s making progress but exposure to Jordan could undo all that. It’s not an option. Vikki’s angry that her father would go behind her back to push this plan.

Over drinks, Audra asks Tucker why his attention’s shifted. Something’s on your mind too – what is it? he deflects. Audra’s thinking of what Ashley said – the dynamic’s changed – she’d soon know what that meant. What do you make of it?

Tucker claims he doesn’t know or care what’s going through Ashley’s mind, yet flashes back to her claiming she had an epiphany due to a fender bender. She didn’t trust Tucker enough to marry him. What aren’t you telling me? Audra barks.

Ashley doesn’t know what will happen between her and Tucker but won’t rule out a reconciliation. Our dynamic has to change. After Ashley goes upstairs, Traci texts Jack – Ashley’s home – everything’s changed – we need to talk.

Vikki’s at the ranch to blast her Dad for going behind her back. Your Mother’s a fragile mess, Victor vows to protect Claire – being in the psych ward isn’t good for her. He’ll find the best therapist. Won’t it be nice to have your daughter home?

Claire calls the nurse in to ask for a phone so that she can call her attorney, Mike Baldwin.

Next Week: Are you threatening me? Ashley asks. It’s a friendly warning, Audra has more experience fighting dirty and enjoys it more than she should … Nate seems alarmed by Maime’s forceful declaration that Jill Abbott’s had a stranglehold on Chancellor Winters far too long. It’s time our family takes full control of the family business. I’m here to make sure that happens… Claire tells Mike that it’s time for her to be who her family needs her to be. That means doing whatever I can to help catch Jordan. Green. Go, Mike’s pleased. Full steam ahead, Claire grins.
