Looking into one another’s eyes, Victor and Nikki declare their love for one another. It’s been a helluva ride. No one can take this away from us, Nikki’s in tears. They hug to a standing ovation.

With Vikki and Devon, Abby’s happy to get to know her niece. Across the room, Lauren’s so happy that Nikki’s regained her sobriety – you probably won’t need me at Newman Media soon. Nikki clutches her clutch.

Jack and Diane tells Victor that Ashley didn’t come because she’s feeling under the weather.

Traci talks to Billy about Ashley’s past mental health issues, then asks him about his own.

Dancing with Summer, there’s no place Chance would rather be. Also dancing, Sally and Adam’s kiss seems to make Nick wish his drank had alcohol in it.

Chatting briefly about Claire, Cole hopes he didn’t make Vikki uncomfortable with the kiss. No, no – it wasn’t uncomfortable, just a surprise – but not a surprise.

How’s Connor? Victor asks. Not good, Adam appreciates Nikki’s offer to send him a care package. Victor puts his hand on Adam’s shoulder – he’ll be alright, I’ll take care of it. Now, go dance with Ms Spectra. Agreeing that it’s a nice evening, Nikki reaches for her clutch, but resists the urge when Jack smiles at her from the dancefloor.

After hearing Billy’s story, Traci thanks him and offers support. Both vow to get Ashley through this with the love of her family.

Diane’s attempt to make small talk rubs Kyle the wrong way. No, she’s not unhappy with him, she’s unhappy with the situation. She hopes it’ll all work out. It will, one way or the other, Kyle’s sure.

After giving Victor and Nikki a painting he did for them, Harrison tells his Dad that he’s tired. Hugging Summer, Harrison grabs his backpack and leaves with his Dad (who looks back at Diane but doesn’t say goodbye) When Claire again tries to strike up conversation with Summer, she’s disappointed to get the cold shoulder.

Having spoken to security, Nick informs his Dad that there’s been no sign of Jordan. Victor wishes she’d shown up so they could catch her. Be careful what you wish for, Nick warns.

Nikki’s as happy as she was 40 years ago. As they dance, we flashback to their first dance at wedding #1. Claire spots Harrison’s ‘lucky bun’. Bypassing Summer, she heads upstairs. Outside, Jordan watches Kyle and Harrison leave. Back downstairs, Victor and Nikki end their dance with a kiss.

Next Week: It’s getting late – I should go, Claire tells Kyle. No, please, stay, he implores …. As Summer runs upstairs, Kyle shouts at his parents – I wish it was a game! It’s not! Dammit – why did I trust her with him!? …. Why would Claire bring Harrison here? a confused Vikki asks (at the tackhouse) She took him – they’re both missing! Summer tells her.

A few thoughts: Lauren’s giant earrings are distracting and her matching hair and dress colour aren’t flattering… Abby’s lopsided neckline make her boobs look lopsided …. Mike was waving his hand around so much when giving his speech that I thought for sure he’d spill his sparkling cider. How he didn’t spill a drop is beyond me. And Lauren shouting out ‘Glorious, enduring love’ made me cringe… Traci tells Billy that Ashley had ‘hysterical amnesia’ but I vividly recall her having a ‘hysterical pregnancy’. Perhaps she had both amnesias and I’ve simply forgotten….Placing large candles in vases on the staircases probably isn’t a good idea given all the ladies are wearing full length gowns. What could go wrong? You’d think Vikki would be a bit more conscious of fire hazards since her house just burned down…. Why would the Newmans anniversary party be held at the club instead of at Society? Weird.
