Looking sharp in his tux, Nick instructs security to be on the lookout for Jordan. Vikki reminds a staff member that this is a ‘dry’ party – mocktails and sparkling cider only.

Coming through the revolving door, Harrison runs into Summer’s arms while Kyle and Chance have a nice chat. When Cole arrives with Claire, Harrison runs over to give her a hug (much to Summer’s annoyance) Outside, Jordan (dressed as a man) watches.

Complimenting Diane, Jack’s not sure they should leave Ashley right now. Traci encourages them to go enjoy Victor and Nikki’s party.

‘Just until Jordan’s gone’, Nikki’s about to drink from her flask when Victor appears. With shaky hands, she hides it in her clutch. After a few loving words, they share a kiss.

Ashley took a sleeping pill, Traci’s sure she’ll sleep through the night. Now, go to the party. Joining them, Billy’s more than happy to be staying with Traci instead of attending the Newman party.

Nikki gasps at the ring Victor gifts her with – a ruby for our ruby anniversary. She appreciates his support. Both look forward to celebrating their ‘eternal love’ with friends and family.

Adam (with Sally) gets a chilly welcome from Vikki and then Abby. Nick, however, is glad they’re here and asks how Connor is.

Getting no reaction when trying to bond with Summer over her fashion sense, Claire has much better luck with Harrison, who shows her his good luck charm (a small bunny figurine he apparently takes everywhere) Heading to the lounge, Kyle and Chance are amused when Harrison takes Claire’s hand. Summer, not so much.

How precious, Jordan mutters to herself as she watches through the revolving door.

Venting about not being able to see his son, an irritated Adam walks off when Nick tells him that he can’t have a drink – it’s a dry party.

Joking that Victor must not have checked the guest list, Mike whisks Diane off for sparkling cider. That leaves Lauren and Jack to pat each other on the back for helping Nikki (and briefly mention Jordan)

Arriving with Nikki, Victor tells his head of security that he’s counting on him and his team.

When her parents come over to chat, Claire sees Summer glaring at her and sends Harrison over to his Mum (who puts her arm around him and glares even harder) After Claire goes to get a drink, Cole dissuades Vikki from having a talk with Summer. All applaud when Victor and Nikki arrive.

Nick and Vikki make the first speech/toast. Another 2nd generation Newman goes next – Adam apologizes and manages to mention Connor. As a 3rd generation Newman, Summer draws attention to her grandmother’s ring. Happy 40th anniversary. Then Abby – Devon’s pleased with their choice of venue. The Baldwins. Nikki looks bored, Diane looks annoyed by Jack’s speech.
