Claire drops by her grandfather’s office – she’s sad after cleaning out her Dad’s old office.

Taking a seat across from Vic, Kyle wonders if she told Claire to cut him loose – maybe you don’t think I deserve her.

At Society, Sally tries to cajole Audra from bad mood to party mode. Everyone’s going to rub my nose in my own failure, Audra whines – payback’s a bitch.

Living well’s the best revenge, Sally agrees. Audra doesn’t have to be asked twice to ‘vent’ – Claire tried to intimidate me; she and Kyle are both coming after me. And they’re both on the guest list, Sally adds.

Scolded for concealing the truth about Nice, Kyle admits he screwed up. Why did you think it was OK to hide the truth from the woman you love? Vic has to ask.

Claire thanks her grandfather for her new job; she’s still trying to figure out who she is – some people think they can walk all over me. Did I forgive Kyle too soon? Victor wonders.

Claire tells her grandfather that Kyle kissed Claire; she’s always rubbing it in my face. Is his proposal sincere or a smoke screen? She feels manipulated. Maybe you were right all along. The way Victor sees it, Kyle passed his damn test. He loves you.

The kiss was stupid, Kyle wishes he hadn’t done it (or concealed it from Claire) Vic worries what Audra will do now that she has nothing to lose – She won’t let this go.

Kyle and Claire might not show up, Sally can’t dis-invite them. She wants Audra to put her grudges on hold and do what’s best for the company. After Sally leaves, Holden arrives to order Audra to leave Claire alone.

Claire doesn’t think anything happened beside the kiss (Audra would have thrown it in her face) Victor repeats – Kyle passed the test; Audra failed. He’s even more supportive/impressed after the deal he made. What deal? Claire’s ‘confused’.

At the house, Billy and Sally are eager to get to their 50’s theme launch party. Reporting that Audra’s paranoid and moody, Sally’s trying not to freak out about it.
