No comment! Jack hangs up on a reporter. Diane looks at her phone – social media haters are having a field day with this. Your ‘no comment’ comment is already trending. Maybe Billy wants you out, she again suggests. Jack can’t believe Cane convinced Billy to turn on him. If he wants me out, he’ll have to tell me to my face.

Victor backed me into a corner, Cane explains – he discovered the extent of my plan (which involves an AI program) and that Collin got money in a way that wasn’t ‘above board’. In no position to fight Victor alone, Cane will give Billy info that can protect his company in exchange for his help.

Holden doesn’t want any trouble; ‘you’re a nice couple’. He wants them to be happy and will take care of Audra. You don’t have to involve yourself, Kyle can handle her. Claire doesn’t want him anywhere near Audra. After Holden leaves, Kyle relays Abby’s concern about her drinking with Holden – he’s a ‘smooth player’ who puts on an act with you. He doesn’t want us to be happy – he wants you.

How do *I* fit into this plan? Phyllis asks. Yes, everything IS about me – I’ve been your strongest supporter, a devoted ally, she tells Cane. Victor hates you even more than he hates me, Cane tells Billy – then gives Phyllis the OK to divulge what his software is capable of.

Claire’s followed Holden to the park overlook to apologize for Kyle’s behaviour. I don’t know why he sees you as a threat. (Sadly) Holden does.

Coming home to ask why the party was cancelled, Kyle finds it odd that Billy didn’t tell his sole investor (Jack) then, unconvincingly agrees that there must be a reasonable explanation. As for Claire, I have no clue what I’m doing when it comes to relationships, he mopes.

In the dining room, Kyle tells his parents that Claire’s befriended Holden. She overheard me telling him to stay away from her and took his side – she thinks I’m trying to dictate who she hangs out with. I keep doing the wrong thing.

Holden doesn’t take it personally; Kyle’s afraid of losing you. Well, Claire does (take it personally) What happened with you and Audra in LA? It wasn’t totally legal – and Holden thinks that if Claire knew, it might change the way she sees him. It wouldn’t change the way I see you, Claire’s no stranger to breaking the law.

Phyllis explains what Cane’s AI software is capable of. Once executed, the program disappears; it can even leave a trail that points to an employee. Victor would unleash it on his enemies, Cane jumps in to say that once the targeted company’s in ruins, the attacker (Victor) swoops in. Why would you develop something like this? Sally looks alarmed when Billy answers ‘because it’s amazing’.

Kyle doesn’t know how he’ll make it up to Claire. When his parents blame Audra, he concludes that she may have succeeded in breaking him and Claire up after all.

Back in the park, Claire tells Holden that she tried to murder her entire family. So, I doubt what you and Audra did in LA holds a candle to that. Holden likes the way Claire thinks. In fact, I like everything about you.

Victor wants to use the AI against Jack – then likely you, Cane tells Billy. If we go along with you, what do you want in return? Sally asks. Cane must keep his hands clean (for his family) Trusting in their hatred for Victor, he’s willing to give the three of them the AI program so they can take him down themselves.
