My Thoughts: It seems a bit tone-deaf for Diane and Jack to be salivating over Jabot’s record breaking sales while many will be struggling to put food on the table this holiday season. Folks just want to be able to put kids under the tree for their kids – who gives a rats-ass about Jabot Classics overpriced mascara? … It’s pretty damn wasteful the way the Abbotts and Newmans fly their private jets around with one or two people onboard. Not only do these millionaires not care about the planet, it’s like they live ON another planet. At least Holden and Claire carpooled (plan-pooled) back from LA. I hope those of you who need to fly for work or to spend the upcoming holidays with loved ones (and don’t have a private jet at your disposal) reach your destinations safely and with minimal stress … And since I’m on my soapbox, Cane’s little AI program may seem deceptively small (so small it doesn’t even have a name and can be accessed on Phyllis’ laptop) the truth is that training AI models and the server-filled data centres they require use MASSIVE amounts of space, energy and water (mostly from fossil fuels) and largely a without transparency or regulation. /rant.
