On the phone with a reporter (at CL’s) Billy isn’t worried about the ‘muck-rakers’ at Newman Media; he believes in his team, especially Sally Spectra – we’re hiring the best of the best – you can quote me on that. Sally arrives to whine that Jill thinks Audra’s past prevents her from being part of Abbott Communications’ future.

What the hell were you thinking?! Audra fumes about Holden spilling his guts to ‘Little Miss Sunshine’. Holden’s sorry – it kinda just happened; our past came up at the Shadow Room. Audra’s even more upset – given our history of that place and those people – do you have a death wish!?

I appreciate you letting me know – Cane assures someone on the phone that he’ll have his tech team do whatever they can. Sounds like bad news, Victor smirks. You just launched my program against my company, Cane accuses.

On the patio, Sally tells Billy that Audra’s ‘uniquely qualified’. Jill didn’t exactly say I couldn’t hire her. Vowing to fight for Audra, Sally thinks that if Jill can change her mind on Billy, she can change her mind on Audra. Is hiring her worth your future, OUR future? he has to ask.

Audra continues to lash out at Holden (who denies Claire being his girlfriend) You give her dirt to use against me! This fits your MO; trying to impress vulnerable women. Claire probably got excited, Audra correctly guesses that she took Holden back to her room to show Holden her appreciation.

Victor declares it ironic that Cane’s ‘doomsday machine’ has been used against him – you must be mortified. Adam finally chimes in to defend his father – you have no proof he’s responsible. We’re gonna have a field day with this – Dumas undone by his own Frankenstein monster. Good luck to you if you want to take me on, Victor thinks Cane should focus on saving his company. After Cane leaves, Adam asks if it’s true that Victor unleashed Cane’s creation against him.

Audra was once the only friend Sally had – she lost her business, relationship and is running out of money; she deserves a break. Billy can relate but it’s too big a risk. Sally knows Audra will work like a demon and have her back. Like I didn’t, Billy screwed up by not giving Sally the loyalty or support she deserved. Sally’s forgiven him. Billy hasn’t forgiven himself. Weigh the pros and cons – I trust you to make the right call.

Calm down, Holden doesn’t want to fight – or ruin Audra’s life. Claire was suspicious and wouldn’t let it go, so he told her a ‘careful’ version of the truth. You gave a woman who hates me ammo to ruin my life! Audra’s pissed.

There has to be a way to activate the kill switch. If we don’t stop the bleeding, my company goes down, Cane ends his call when Phyllis strolls into the park. Whoever stole the program is collapsing my company from the inside as we speak. It’s only a matter of time before my company’s destroyed. Phyllis is sorry – we can fix this.

Adam didn’t see this coming – hitting Cane’s company before Jabot is a brilliant move. He’ll go bankrupt and we’ll take Cane’s company for pennies on the dollar. Victor was satisfied by Cane’s reaction – it’ll be more satisfying taking Jack down.

What if Claire tells Nate or Amy – she’ll tell Kyle – he’ll tell Sally and Billy. Holden didn’t mention ‘his’ name. Hopefully, Claire won’t start digging. Yes, he told Claire that he took the money. Neither of us wants this story to get out. Is everything OK over here? Sally arrives at the club to ask.
