Adam joins Chelsea at Society – he just got off the phone with a reporter; Billy’s running his mouth about burying Newman Media. Chelsea doesn’t want things to end up in the gutter. Adam might be able to get Victor to back off. He released the AI program into Arabesque – Cane could be out of business soon. Why aren’t you happy about that? Chelsea wonders.

This leaves you out in the cold too, Cane again asks if Phyllis had anything to do with Victor getting his program. Billy appears – are you trying to figure out how to get the AI program back? After Cane marches off to put fires out, Billy asks Phyllis if she’s responsible for those fires.

Audra and I were just reminiscing about old times, Holden claims. Looked intense, Sally comments. Holden’s lost his appetite – always a pleasure, he leaves. When Sally says ‘we need to talk’, Audra assumes it’s bad news.

Cane has it coming – but Adam’s troubled by his father’s next target – Jack and Jabot (which is supposed to go to Phyllis) Thinking that people who can’t be satisfied can’t be happy, Chelsea feels sorry for Victor. Adam feels sorrier for Jack.

Victor leaves a voicemail for Mike – what have you learned about Noah’s associates in LA? Have you made up your mind? I need counsel – things are becoming urgent.

Billy grills Phyllis (who thinks he should focus on what Victor will do next) It’s only a matter of time before he goes after Jabot and Abbott Communications. Billy’s not worried – we took precautions, and have tools. Have a good day, he hopes whatever Cane’s freaking out about gets solved – good luck. Phyllis goes one way, Billy the other.

Sally talked to AC’s anonymous investor – they’re concerned about your history and advised me not to hire you. But, it’s not over, Sally will fight for Audra; she’s not giving up. It might take a bit longer than we thought but we’ll both get what we want.

Chelsea hates that Adam’s always the one who has to get his hands dirty. It kills Adam to go after Jack; one of his few friends, a father figure when everyone else turned against him – he always believed in me. You can tell Victor ‘no’, Chelsea points out. When Victor gives an order, he expects to be obeyed, Adam adds that those who don’t are banished from the kingdom.

Dropping by the ranch, Phyllis is happy to hear that Noah’s OK, but is there because she just ran into Billy; he and Jack have taken precautions against an attack. This is Victor Newman you’re talking to – stop playing games – what do you want to know? Phyllis wants to know if he’s attacking Cane’s company; that wasn’t part of our deal.

Audra appreciates Sally having her back and will keep her distance for now. She’ll be ready to hit the ground running when the time comes; I won’t let you down. Sally knows that and has a plan to win over her investor.

Adam and Chelsea agree that they should tell Victor how they feel, directly. Knowing it’s a ‘tricky’ situation, Chelsea has to ask; can you really go against Victor to protect Jack?

You thought we were partners? Victor’s amused. Yes, Phyllis gave him the program to go after Jabot, NOT Cane. It’s none of your business, Victor wonders why she cares about screwing over Cane; you’ve done it once, you can do it again.
