Cane’s made a mess of things – but – he DID warn Jack that his AI had been stolen, Traci knows that Lily once loved him – at my age, she realizes that there’s no time to waste when it comes to love.

Yes, Phyllis’ ‘awesome deal’ fell through. Victor double crossed you – so you want to team up with the guy you robbed? Cane’s not sure what he has left that could possibly be of use to Phyllis.

Nick and Sharon rush into CL’s to fuss over Noah. His only concern is Sienna – if Matt has her, I might never see her again.

Asked if she’ll ever fall in love again, Traci explains that (as a writer) when her characters fall in love, she feels the butterflies. There will always be another chapter. Anything’s possible, she tells her ‘sweet friend’ (clearly referring to Lily and Cane)

Still on the train, Phyllis reminds Cane that he said he could forgive her – let’s not dwell on who did what to whom. No, he won’t accept defeat (at Victor’s hand) Phyllis will help him get payback. Asked what her plan is, she takes that as a ‘yes’.

A lightbulb goes off over Nick’s head – what if Sienna went with Matt willingly? Maybe she and Matt have been playing the long game. No way in hell, Noah protests. He answers a call from an unknown number. Hey friend, miss me? Matt asks.

Grateful to be in one another’s lives, Lily and Traci exchange ‘I love you’s’ When the conversation again turns to Cane; Lily’s conflicted. Traci suggests he may have learned from his mistakes.

Phyllis proposes an equal partnership (except the days Cane wants to be on top) He agrees – what’s your plan? She’ll steal the AI software back from Victor – then we take over Newman Enterprises.

If you hurt Sienna… Noah’s threat doesn’t scare Matt. When exactly did you decide to go after my wife? Was it love at first sight or a slow burn? It’s a shame your parents raised you to believe it’s normal to bounce from lover to lover. When Noah offers to trade himself for Sienna, Sharon grabs the phone – leave my family alone!!

As Diane sends a text to Mike (hoping he’s found a way to help them) Tracie comes home to declare her ‘relentless’ – it’s wonderful to have you on our side. We’re lucky to have you ~hug~ Merry Christmas.

Wanting to force Matt’s hand, Nick takes Noah’s phone – I’ve got this. He calls Matt to say that Burrow’s got the cops searching for him. He called to offer Matt a deal.

Running NE sounds nice in theory but does it leave time for hobbies? Cane wants to do his puzzle and watch the sunset. With Lily? Phyllis points out that he’s alone. I’m your partner. She leans across the desk – let Aristotle come out and play, she’s kissing Cane when Lily quietly appears to look horrified.
