When Nikki comes home to report that Nick’s recovering, Adam vows that Matt will pay – like anyone who goes against the family (a veiled threat towards Mike) After the ‘horse’s ass’ leaves, Nikki scowls at Mike, suspecting he’s there to help Victor destroy Jack.
I’ll give you some space, Cane fails to convince Lily. And, when he asks to go with her to visit Mattie, then Charlie, she immediately shuts him down. You have to stop!
Cane again declares his love for Lily. She’s frustrated. He whines about her giving him ‘mixed signals’. We’re beyond ‘played out’ – don’t follow me. He won’t, or beg her. Go be with Phyllis, I’m the last person you belong with, Lily’s unwavering.
‘We’re of like minds’, Mike’s told about the ultimatum Nikki gave Victor (but couldn’t stick to) He suggests they put their heads together to fix this.
Jack believes that Billy’s motivated by loyalty to the family (over hatred for Victor) but tells Kyle and Diane that him and Sally should hold off on running their hit piece until he gets proof that Victor’s using illegal software to go after Cane’s company.
Helping Jack into his coat, Diane fusses over what he plans to do. Yes, I trust you. Jack has an idea but won’t share it. He’s sure they’ll come out of this better and more united than ever. Now alone, she complains that Kyle wasn’t ‘helpful’ but both have confidence in Jack. ‘Watch out Victor’, they agree.

Over drinks in the dining room, Diane tells Kyle that whatever Jack’s plan is, he seems to believe it’s a winner.
