Connor’s doing great – he has a girlfriend, Chelsea confides. Sharon can’t believe what’s going on at Newman; never underestimate Victor. Losing Newman is like losing a child to him, Chelsea adds.

Victor has a feeling that Lily will continue to go along (even after knowing Cane’s no longer in control) Nikki assumes he has a plan he won’t share with her – it better not involve pretending to kidnap Billy or Phyllis’ kids.

You’re a spoiled brat having a temper tantrum, Nick accuses. Are we gonna fight now? Should I hop around on one leg to make it fair? Billy mocks – you should be going after Phyllis and Cane. I was just in the right place at the right time. He couldn’t care less where Phyllis is. Nick doubts she handed Chancellor to Billy out of the goodness of her heart.

You done? Billy has a company to run. Leave before I call animal control to report a one-legged dog on the loose that won’t stop barking. When Sally arrives, Nick warns her to cut him loose before he drags her down with him.

Nikki doesn’t want the grandkids involved – can’t we let Lily go? She and the twins are basically our prisoners. They aren’t locked up, Victor’s sure it’ll be over soon. Adam arrives to update that Billy’s been handed Chancellor and Sally gets Newman Media.

Hobbling onto the patio, Nick props himself up for a rest. Inside, Chelsea and Sharon continue to chat. Phyllis has some good qualities – but she’s still Phyllis. Chelsea thinks she deserves to lose ‘all of her friends, all of her family’. Clearly in pain, Nick flops onto a chair and asks for a glass of water.

This is all temporary, Victor assures. Nikki mopes about Katherine’s legacy – what would she say to me now? How did it get to this?

Nick chugs down his water – Phyllis is likely hunkered down somewhere, hiding from everyone she screwed over. Sharon was duped by her too. Phyllis doesn’t care who she’s hurt – or that Daniel and Summer aren’t returning her calls. I’ll make sure she pays for this the rest of her freaking life, Nick crushes his water bottle and throws it.

Sally tells Billy that she just heard the same thing from Adam (to stay away from him) They’re upset because they lost and arentrying to chip away at us because we’re a power couple, Billy didn’t mean the things he said last night. There’s no moving forward, Sally came to pack her things. It’s over – we’re done.

Nikki and Adam don’t blame Victor. I don’t lose!!! he bellows – I will crush them!! All of them!!

Please, we can figure this out, Billy pleads – don’t do this. Sally didn’t do this – YOU did this. I love you too, she cries – you kept telling me you wanted it all. For me, you were always enough. Sorry I couldn’t be that for you, she leaves.

Nick downplays his pain – he’s just mad. After Chelsea leaves, Sharon asks Nick when he last ate, then goes to make him some tea. Nick pulls his bottle of meds from his pocket. Finding it empty, he then pulls out a baggie of pills (that looks like the drugs Matt was peddling)

My Thoughts: Uh, No Chelsea, losing a company is not like losing a child – and Sharon, of all people, knows that. And who is she referring to when saying Phyllis should lose all of her friends and family? I can count them combined on one hand. Last comment on Chelsea – your son writing out a bunch of Valentines doesn’t mean your son has a girlfriend, it means he has a crush… Has Nick been walking around all this time with fentanyl in his coat pocket? Sure Nick, all rules might go out the window because your family was ‘messed with’ but laws are still a thing – so, you can’t just walk into someone’s home uninvited – and you can’t walk around with a baggie of fentanyl that’s not prescribed to you… How exactly will Newman Media be folded into Abbott Communications? Is it as easy as folding an egg into cake batter? Sally’s not exactly an experienced baker.
