Daniel tells Abby what she already knows; that Mariah’s been sentenced to psychiatric care – he doesn’t know about her plans after that. Abby’s not just ‘worried’, she’s ‘terrified’ (and describes constantly checking on Dom)
Lily seems surprised – you don’t think Mariah deserves treatment? Devon rails against her getting a slap on the wrist. How will it be when Mariah comes back to town? She’s not who she used to be – she was going to take Dom to Mexico. Lily thinks he should let go of his anger.
If I don’t forgive you, Victor wins?! Diane’s appalled by Jack’s argument. YOU took the bait Victor laid for you. Jack’s sorry – let me explain. Can you forgive me? Diane can’t get past what she and Kyle walked in on – how am I supposed to trust you?
Can Cane count on Holden? He needs some details first (and learns that his mission is to gather ‘intel’ from Claire)
Daniel’s sorry for what Abby’s going through, but Mariah’s not a threat; the Judge was right to sentence her to treatment. She was in such a bad place she distanced herself from her family. Abby talks through her conflicted feelings.
Mariah’s in a facility; Dom’s safe, Lily asks about the abduction. You’d have known if you were here, Devon jabs – then explains that Abby left Dom alone for a minute and he was gone. Where were you? Lily asks.
Holden doesn’t think it would be fair to use Claire to go after her grandfather. He wouldn’t want to betray her trust. Cane gets it, then goes in to order coffee. Holden follows to ask if there’s another way he can help.
In tears, Diane needs space. How do we move forward? Jack persists. When Kyle comes along, Diane informs Jack that they’re having dinner together. No, he can’t join them.
