At CL’s, Sharon serves Noah his favourite Maple Pecan Scone, then updates him and Nikki that Adam’s made contact with Risa. If they don’t find that SOB, Noah will.

Victoria arrives at the ranch as her Dad’s leaving a message for Adam. Did Summer agree to help or did she turn you down flat? he wonders.

Lily’s at the estate being interrogated by Devon and Nate. Cane said that Victor kidnapped you – so, did he hold you against your will?

Drowning his sorrows at Society, Cane watches the video he’d sent Lily; vowing to stay out of her life; a promise he now will have no problem keeping.

Nikki thinks Nick and Adam are playing with fire; Matt is the devil. Noah claims he can handle Matt, but his Mom and grandmother won’t hear of it. Nikki adds that her family is full of stubborn mules.

Summer was adamant about not confronting her mother, she doesn’t even want to talk to her, but, Victoria DID bring back a scathing letter that she can’t wait to give to Phyllis. Victor has news of his own – he managed to pry Chancellor out of Phyllis’ grip.

‘It’s complicated’, Lily’s able to change the subject to Dominic – briefly. Hoping her brother and cousin will understand, she explains that the kidnapping was a ruse to force Cane’s hand. Victoria knew, Nate realizes. What the hell’s the matter with you?! Devon’s pissed.

Noah pulls out something he had flown in from London for his grandmother; a Billie Holiday LP from a live concert she performed in 1959; where his nightclub is now. Having stopped by the ranch to deliver it, he asks if it’s true; did you leave grandpa?

Phyllis still has the other Newman entities, but not for long. Yes, of course, Victor has a plan. Mom must be thrilled that she’s getting Chancellor back, Victoria assumes. That’s not happening – she moved out, Victor announces.

Nate and Devon both blast Lily. She thought she was doing the right thing; she was mad at Cane and is NOT Victor’s ‘champion’. You intentionally put your family through hell! Devon says she’s no better than Cane.

Victoria could feel that something was off and guesses this is about Jack. How far did you take things!? Jack’s fine, Victor used him as leverage; your mother doesn’t agree that the ends justify the means. She blames me for Jack ‘doing things’. Victor won’t tolerate her criticising him or defending Jack in this house. Did you throw her out!? Victoria’s alarmed.

Nikki assures Noah that she’s just taking some time away from Victor. He considers his grandparents the ‘gold standard’; equals. Nikki downplays the argument then changes the subject to how well Faith’s doing.
