Lily admits there’s more to Holden than she thought. She has concerns. Traci points out that Holden would be a different man if he’d been raised as part of her family – like Devon. Give him the benefit of the doubt – you’re all on Team Malcolm – it’s a bond that could change lives.
Nick’s back at the house to tell Noah that the Newman Team haven’t been able to find Matt or his car.
Matt watches with interest as Cane tells Phyllis to get out. You need all the paying customers you can get, she clips clops to the bar. Holden rejoins Cane to say that the stem cell retrieval can take place in GC. They both go to meet Lily at CL’s. On his way out, Cane hisses at Phyllis – you’re poison. Matt almost looks sorry for her.
Audra and Claire’s argument gets ugly until they both jump up to storm off in different directions.
If Nick hears anything more, he’ll let Noah know. Sienna appears at the top of the stairs to lock eyes with Noah.
Phyllis orders another drink and promises to leave a big tip. She notices Matt staring at her and asks him why.
At CL’s, Lily’s glad Cane came with Holden – you made bail, then disappointed to hear that he can’t leave GC.
Cane stops Lily from reaching out to Chris. Holden adds that the retrieval can take place here. Holden looks left out when Cane takes her onto the patio.
Newman security would have found a body if i killed him, Sienna frets – she was always scared of Matt but pretended it was excitement. I should have stayed to make sure he was dead. We’ll never see him coming!
Matt compliments Phyllis – he assumes she’s used to being stared at. You have main-character energy. Phyllis informs that the ‘intense guy’ runs the place, she lives there. You’re not from around here. Matt’s not trying to be ‘smart’ or an ‘ass’ – he doesn’t remember who he is.
Back at CL’s, Claire tells Holden that she’d like to go to NY with him. If he tells her what happened with Audra in LA, Claire will consider it a bonus.
If you need me when you’re in NY, Cane promises Lily that he’ll take the risk and skip bail.
Sienna plays ‘what if’ and blames herself for Matt coming after Noah’s family. He’s coming – she can feel it; in fact, she believes he’s already here.
Is Phyllis for or against ‘reinvention’ (like Cane) I literally created a hotel called The Grand Phoenix, she envies Matt for his ‘memory wipe’. In the background, an antsy Nick shows up (though customers obscure the bar)
