How long have you known who he is? Patty tells Matt not to trust Phyllis. But, Matt does. He trusts Phyllis too. Phyllis wants to tell him everything she found out but not in front of ‘that bitch’. Agreeing to leave (and meet for a drink later) Patty gives Matt a kiss on her way out. After a rant about Matt going to meet Patty, Phyllis announces that she knows all of his history and all his enemies.
Mariah’s surprised to find Devon in the facility’s visiting room. He slides an envelope across the table – this is for you.
At the club, Nick continues to browbeat Chris – he wants Matt arrested and Phyllis un-arrested. Phyllis has Matt – SHE holds the cards, Chris points out. Do we have a deal or not? Nick persists.
Phyllis doesn’t need a lecture from Sharon – the Newmans should be thanking me. I’ll be the hero – you’re welcome. Wait – where IS Matt? What have you done to him, Sharon ‘deserves’ to know.
Nick leaves when Daniel arrives to talk to Chris. Is something wrong? she asks. That depends – have you talked to my Dad??
Mariah’s delighted by the card Dom’s made for her. He’s sad that you’re ‘sick’ (Devon told him that she’s in hospital) Thanking Devon, Mariah’s expresses how deeply sorry she is for the pain she caused.
Danny went to Europe for a concert but hasn’t checked in, Daniel worries. Chris loves Danny but he is ‘distractable’. We’re family – we check on each other. Daniel also wants to know where things stand with his Mom’s case?
Sharon unloads on Phyllis – Matt wants us dead! What if something happens to Noah? You can’t control Matt – he’s a predator; he may be stringing you along – you won’t know until it’s too late! Bringing up being held hostage in the clinic, Sharon warns Phyllis that she’s headed for a crash and burn. If the Newmans just work with me this will all work out, Phyllis promises. Let Nick know.
Chris can’t discuss the case with Daniel – she’s just following the facts. Daniel hates the thought of her going to prison. It’s a real possibility, Chris warns. What if Daniel got his Mom to give the company back? Would the charges be dropped???
On the patio, Nick takes a pill before joining Noah and Sharon inside. Phyllis was just here, Sharon reports – she does have Matt. It’ll be over soon – Nick made Phyllis an offer she can’t refuse.
Mariah and Devon have a long talk about how angry he is and how sorry she is. You took my son – I’m your friend. We’ve been through a lot together – I can barely look at you, Devon wants Mariah to experience a fraction of the pain she put me through.
