‘Go ahead, leave’, Phyllis bluffs. Apologizing, Matt asks if his wife is in GC. No, no one here is ‘pining’ for you, she’s blunt. You’re lucky to have me. Matt doesn’t want to let Phyllis down, or endanger her. She warns that the minute he leaves this room, he’ll get caught. What should I do? Matt asks.

Keeping secrets isn’t protecting me, Sally blathers on. Billy swears there’s nothing to worry about. What was on your phone that you didn’t want me to see? she persists. Billy’s planning a surprise; he’s been texting with a wedding planner. There’s one problem though ….

When Nick shows Victoria a video of Christian doing a dance challenge, she wonders how he’s so calm and relaxed. What’s your secret?

I’m your best and only option, Phyllis needs time to convince the Newmans that Matt’s a changed man (starting with Nick) You’ve done enough – I’ve got to move on, Matt decides. No! Phyllis thinks he’s being rash. This is what needs to happen, he’s firm.

Mike tells Victor that Phyllis is counting on the Newmans’ wanting Matt more than the company. Not so, Victor wants her to give up EVERYTHING and expects an answer by the end of the day. Mike’s left to fret.

Billy tells Sally that Pietro (the wedding planner who did Nikki’s party and the Romalotti wedding) isn’t available until 2029. We can plan it ourselves, though Sally is open to the elephant idea.

Using reverse psychology, Phyllis agrees that Matt needs to leave. Go put on your disguise and I’ll drive you anywhere you need to go. Taking his hands, she sees a kind, witty, gentle man. He sees a kind, loving woman who helped him. He doesn’t want to go, but it’s for the best. As Matt turns to pack up, a desperate Phyllis hits him over the head, knocking him out cold.

Nick credits his session today with his zen attitude. Victoria knows he’s lying – what’s going on?
