Devon’s just done telling Nate that Abby went to an expo in Chicago (he wasn’t invited) when she arrives. After a brief talk about basketball, Nate leaves them to ‘work it out’. Devon immediately starts grumbling about Lily and Cane.
Over dinner and bubbly, Lily and Cane banter and toast to Malcolm’s good health. She’s ‘weirdly OK’ about Holden. Cane’s pleased she came over.
Noah lists a few of Matt’s crimes. You did despicable things to me, Sharon adds. He doesn’t know who he is, Phyllis defends Matt. You’re an idiot for believing him! Nick snarls. Flashing back to their fight in the desert, Matt does remember something about Sienna – you tried to kill me.
Back at the club, Abby thinks Devon should cut Cane some slack. He’s a hero now? We should all forgive him? Devon apologizes; he wishes he could forgive Mariah. I went to see her, he surprises Abby.
Cane hasn’t heard anything about a trial date and isn’t worried; the charges and emails are bogus. Lily’s sorry she trusted Victor and went along with his ‘kidnapping’ scheme. Cane wonders what he offered her to go along with it.
When Nate arrives at CL’s, Nikki leaves them to chat. Victoria’s heard all about Malcolm, and Holden being Lily’s sister (from Claire) What do you know about opioid addiction? she asks.
