Sally tells Audra that Adam and Chelsea aren’t supporting Victor in his bid to get Newman Media back. You really think he’ll go against his father? Audra’s sceptical.
Victor wants Nick to focus on his recovery. But being sidelined gives Nick too much time to think about using again. Victor worries he’ll get overwhelmed and stressed. My job will save me, Nick needs to feel relevant again. Nikki appears to voice her support.
Victoria and Claire laugh and reminisce about the man they both miss every day, what Cole would think of Holden and Victor moving Matt onto the ranch. It feels lonely here sometimes, they agree. Claire wonders if her Mom could see herself moving on with someone else.
Audra can’t believe Sally’s willing to believe Adam and Chelsea – maybe they wanted you to overhear them. How many times did I tell you not to trust Adam? He cheated on you and lied about it. Sally believes he’s changed – they aren’t OK with Victor’s plan. He won’t listen to them anyway, Audra and Sally finally agree on something. Maybe WE should attack first.
Nikki didn’t mean to eavesdrop – guess it’s true that your other senses kick in, she jokes. Fully supporting Nick going back to work, she asks Victor to rethink it (he will) Announcing that she’s having her bandages off tomorrow, Nikki asks to speak to Victor in private.
You mean like, date someone? Victoria likes spending time with Nate, but their relationship is more about safety than romance. Are you looking for something ‘not safe’? Claire asks. Maybe, Victoria changes the subject to Holden.
We’ll speak later, Victor has calls to make. Well, that went well, Nikki quips when he leaves the room. Updating Nick, Nikki tells him that visiting Jack has angered Victor.
Sally suggests they appeal to Victor directly – it’s all we’ve got. There’s only one way to find out, she stands. Audra’s going too (to hear the threat directly from the old geezers mouth) Sally has a plan.
Holden and I are a thing-ish, Claire’s enjoying it (and Holden) Victoria’s warming to him because he’s Malcolm (and Stephanie’s) son. She could really use Cole’s wisdom right now ~hug~
At the ranch, Sally politely asks Nikki how she’s doing. Nick thinks it’s bold of them to come – you have my support for what that’s worth. Off for a walk, Nikki wishes the girls ‘good luck’. Victor appears to tell Sally and Audra that their company won’t exist tomorrow.
