Checking the casserole, Claire didn’t cook it at the right temperature. Cole wasn’t a good cook either, they joke. Nick guides his mother to the sofa. Sorry to barge in, they smell tuna casserole. They’d love to join them in remembering Cole. Victoria suggests they invite Victor. No, he’s busy.

Spectra Charles didn’t steal Newman Media – we absorbed it, Sally’s not there to argue, she’s there to make a deal with Victor.

Billy has nothing to do with Spectra Charles, Sally and Audra know Victor will get what he wants. Sally proposes a deal that will make sense for all parties.

Nick reports that Sally and Audra are trying to convince your father not to go after Spectra Charles. Nikki’s trying to be positive but must prepare herself for bad news (when her bandages come off)

Since Newman Media hasn’t been fully integrated into Spectra Charles, Sally would be willing to sell it back to Victor. Everyone wins, Audra adds. Victor won’t pay for something that’s already his.

Nikki’s preparing herself for the possibility that her sight may never return. Victoria and Nick speak of miracles – but Claire thinks Nikki’s right in thinking she may never see again (Victoria gives her a look)

You have no beef with us, Sally and Audra have been great stewards of Victor’s company and legacy. They’re offering a clean solution. Maybe you take us down but what about the cost? Victor loves the fight – bring it on. Is the victory worth what you stand to lose? Sally asks.

Though Victoria chides Claire for her ‘doom and gloom’, Nikki appreciates her candour and wants to be prepared.

Are you willing to lose your family? Sally knows Adam and Chelsea aren’t OK with it, and Nick isn’t onboard. Why risk alienating your family? Does Victoria know? Sally’s deal would give Victor Newman Media back. He’d keep the respect of his family; they’d keep Spectra Charles. It’s a win all the way around.
