Victor said he’d think about it, Sally says. Adam knows Victor’s not considering the deal – not for a second. He has an idea to avoid this fight altogether.
Victor doesn’t want to talk about Jack or Matt – who’s taking you to your doctor appointment? Does your offer to go with me still stand? Nikki asks.
Sienna thinks it’d be best for everyone, including Matt if he left GC. He’s sorry for the pain and anguish he’s caused and wishes them the best of luck with the club. Finally, Nick mutters – but doubts they’ve seen the last of him.
Short of waving a white flag, Sally can’t see how they avoid a fight – she’s not giving up NM without compensation. Adam offers to buy it under the same terms she offered Victor.
If Nick and Victoria are going, they’ve got it covered, Victor thinks it’ll be too crowded. Agreeing, Nikki decides it’s time for bed. Declining Victor’s help, she wants to make it on her own. Victor’s hovering closely when she turns to say that, despite everything, ‘I love you – I always will’. As she walks off counting her steps, Victor looks devastated.
Adam can see that Sally doesn’t trust him and he doesn’t blame Audra for not trusting him either. He and Chelsea want to run Newman Media again.
Noah doesn’t trust Matt but Sienna believes him. He came by to clear the air and apologize for not being the husband she deserved. Sounds like manipulation to Noah (and Nick) He and Sharon saw glimpses of the old Matt. Sienna says he was emotional but not violent. When she and Noah go to do bar stuff, Sharon worries about what Nick may do to Matt.
Matt goes to tell Victor that he’s leaving town. I decide if and when you leave town, Victor will rethink the whole scenario if Matt can’t complete his mission. Maybe you’re pulling a con job. It that’s the case, I’ll make sure you see prison, or worse.
Is Chelsea onboard? Sally asks. No, but she will be. So, you’ve gone totally rogue. She believes Adam’s trying to protect her but won’t this make things worse? Victor never has to know that Adam paid for Newman. Sally doesn’t want to owe Adam. Sunset blush, he blurts out. He didn’t forget – it’s the colour Sally wanted to paint Eva’s nursery. You could never owe me – whether or not we make this deal, I will always owe you.
Matt tells Victor that the family wants him gone – you’d be their hero if you banished me once and for all. If you leave, you’d be a wild card, Victor knows that once he removes the ankle monitor and 24/7 surveillance, all bets are off. Think long and hard before you let me down, he advises.
