Back at the bar, Sienna believes Matt’s sorry. He almost killed you in the desert, Noah reminds. I almost killed him, Sienna counters. Don’t let your guard down – that’s when he’ll strike – trust me on this, Noah’s convinced.

Nick won’t do anything crazy. Sharon asks how he’d make sure Matt wouldn’t come back. She doesn’t want him to do something he’ll regret. Nick needs to go tell his Dad that Matt’s plans have changed.

Working on her tablet in her suite, Phyllis gets a call – long time no see. Slow down – what happened? she asks.

Adam gets what he wants and Sally gets compensated – that’s better than going to war against Victor. Why do this? she asks. Adam knows he hurt Sally and is sorry. It still haunts him. Trust me to take care of this. He’ll make sure Victor doesn’t find out. If he does, are you prepared for the fallout? Sally has to ask.

When Nick goes to the ranch to give his Dad a heads up, Victor tells him that Matt was just there – what prompted Matt to want to leave? He knows we’ll never trust him. Nick suspects Matt has an agenda – I don’t trust him. Victor doesn’t either but he saved your life. If his fate were in your hands, what would you do?

You OK Mom? Noah asks. Matt better not show his face again here. The fact that he’s brazen enough to come here proves he hasn’t changed. If this gentler, kinder version of Matt is for real, Sharon still wants him to leave town. Sienna comes out to say – you believe him too? Glad I’m not the only one. When Sharon worries, Noah reassures her – Dad seems like he’s got everything under control. Sharon worries that Matt’s presence could be as dangerous to Nick as the drugs.

Phyllis joins Matt at the bar to hear that he’s leaving town and never looking back. He called Phyllis because she might be the one person who cares. She does care – and she’s not letting him go.
