After Audra sashays into the club to meet her, Sally reports that Victor won’t take their deal – but Adam will.

At Society, Adam tells some blonde lady (oh wait, it’s Chelsea) that Sally making a deal with them instead of Victor is best for everyone. Did you ever consider what I might want? Chelsea’s NOT happy.

Briefly stopping by Nick’s table, Sharon doesn’t notice that his leg’s furiously jiggling and he’s gnawing on his fist.

Running into Claire at the cafe, Holden asks about Nikki. She can’t see and my entire family’s a mess, she reports.

Looking at a text from his dealer, Nick puts his phone down and goes to the counter to ask Phyllis – how was your night with Matt? She turns to give him the most mischievous grin.

Victor doesn’t know about Adam’s offer; Sally thinks it’s their only choice. Why would Adam do that? Audra wonders. Because he owes me.

Adam thought Chelsea would be happy – but she’s salty that he pitched the idea to Sally without even running it by her. Adam’s sorry he didn’t come to her first. Chelsea wants to build a media company with Adam without destroying someone elses. Also, Victor won’t like it.

There’s still hope but Claire thinks it’s important to remember that there’s no guarantee (Nikki will see again) Not everyone agrees with me, she whines to Holden that she and her Mom aren’t on the same page.

I should be ashamed? YOU should be ashamed; pounding on my door like a lunatic. Nick saw Phyllis take Matt upstairs last night (and knows he stayed at the club) My relationship with Matt is none of your business. ‘Relationship’!? Are you serious!? Nick thinks she’s ‘gone off the deep end’.

My grandmother wants to be prepared for the possibility that she might be blind but my Mom’s relentlessly optimistic (as are Nick and Victor) Claire feels it’s setting everyone up for huge disappointment. Her approach is very familiar to Holden.
