As Sharon tries to reach Nick, Victoria and Mariah wonder if Matt’s responsible. No! Matt didn’t even know Nick was in rehab. But, I did get him started on drugs, so if there’s anything I can do… Stay out of it – you’ve done enough! is the obvious reaction.

Nick calls his dealer from his car – I’ll take my usual order; usual pick up spot. Tossing his phone aside, the self-loathing kicks in.

When Victoria and Sharon march into the ranch, Adam relays everything Nick told him. He didn’t seem high and asked me to take care of Christian. Maybe hearing that Matt’s still in town set him off. Sharon can’t shake the feeling that something’s off with Nick.

Nick’s dealer jumps in the car. Good to see you, he takes the cash and hands over a baggie of pills.

Continuing to bicker, Billy won’t do anything to jeopardize his relationship with Sally. Audra looks up to lock eyes with Matt.

Happy to run into Audra, Matt’s sorry he scared her in the park (or in LA) Matt Clark? Huh, Billy thinks he should keep walking. OK – sorry, After Matt goes to sit at a table, Billy comments that he comes across like a decent enough guy – if he’s good at faking it, that makes him more dangerous.

Victoria calls the clinic to see if Nick made it back. Did he tell you he was spending the night with his son? He’s not back yet, she updates – the clinic said Nick was jittery last night, they didn’t believe him. Adam doesn’t want to jump to conclusions. Nick said he’s committed to his recovery. Addicts lie!! Sharon panics.

Nick washes down two pills and waits for them to take effect.

Next Week: Devon says ‘I have something to tell you guys (Nate, Abby and Lily) It’ll change your lives…. I came here to be alone, Nick tells a woman who looks like a fellow addict-prostitute. That’s no fun – relax – we could have the time of our lives, she offers … On the CL’s patio, Victoria cries on Kyle’s shoulder – he rubs her back. Pulling apart, they look into one another’s eyes – as if to kiss.

My Thoughts: ‘You’re allowed to be here’, Sharon all but throws her hands up as if she isn’t the owner of a PRIVATE business and can throw anyone out she damn well pleases. At a bare minimum, she could appeal to this supposedly new and improved Matt and point out that it’s triggering for her to be serving her rapist; the kind thing to do would be to get coffee at the park cafe, or any other coffee shop not owned by someone Matt’s raped and tried to kill. We can’t make you leave, Mariah adds. Get a damn restraining order – you’ve got the brilliant Mike Baldwin on speed dial! Ugh
