Stephanie joins Nate in Memorial’s staff room to ask what’s wrong – it’s my job to knowh. Hearing that Bishops’s limiting observers in the OR, she fumes – he needs to go.
I’m acting like a teenager, Victoria sighs as she deletes her text to Kyle. Hi Mom – who’s Boris? Claire arrives at Society to ask.
Texting Victoria, Kyle puts his phone down when Diane arrives at CL’s. As they look over some Polaroids of the photoshoot, Diane updates that Nikki made a scene (and a fool of herself) She (and Vibrante) will fail.
Wrapping up a work session at her house, Sally thanks Audra for ‘stepped up’ for her. When her friend’s smile fades, Audra asks – what is it? Billy?
Billy drops by the house to apologize to Jack for being an ‘ungrateful ass’ and confides that Adam’s becoming a problem.
At home, Adam flashes back to burping Ruby, then Billy’s warning. Grabbing his keys and coat, he marches out.
Victoria claims that Boris is the accountant at work who keeps sending her memes. Claire misses Holden; maybe Audra was right about him being ‘over me’.
Sally believes something’s going on with Billy – it might be his Mother – or – it might be about Adam, she tells Audra.
When Billy complains about Adam, Jack can see his (Adam’s) perspective. He’s always felt connected to Summer because he delivered her. Plus, Adam lost a child with Sally. He won’t back off, Billy sees nothing but trouble ahead.
Also complaining about Adam, Sally hopes now that Billy’s back, he won’t continue to drop by. On cue, the doorbell rings. Sally’s stunned when Audra returns – with Adam.
Stephanie fumes – Bishop is rude and arrogant. Lots of surgeons are, Nate includes himself ‘back in the day’. Bishop’s an ass but he’s a good surgeon; Nate also knows he’d cause trouble if Stephanie fired him. Changing subjects, he wants to give her a ‘proper send-off’.
