When Billy marches into CL’s, Victoria wonders what’s going on. And, when he marches to the patio, she’s left to fret to Kyle.
On the patio, Billy tells Holden that there’ll be changes at Chancellor – I own it now. Holden’s happy he’s not being fired – but not happy when he’s told to pick a side. Choosing Lily’s would be a mistake, Billy adds.
Danny wants Lauren to perform with him one night. We’ll see, she and Mike leave singing ‘All I Need Is You’. Can you believe it? He exclaims to Chris – This place is half mine! And you’re ALL mine, Chris wants to see the VIP area (*wink, wink)
Billy’s clearly upset, Victoria wonders what he wants with Holden. Maybe it’s to do with Chancellor. Kyle knows something but can’t say and doesn’t want to get involved.
Back on the patio, Holden points out that he works for Cane and Lily. Chancellor IS mine, Billy all but ignores Claire as he tells Holden that he has a bright future ahead of him. But, if you ‘appease’ your sister, you could end up with nothing. Work with me and one day you could run your own company.
Thanking Jack for trying to get through to Billy, Cane will do what he can to protect John’s legacy – but, Billy has to be reigned in, he reiterates. Traci and Ashley? They’re staying out of it – Jack concludes with a warning. Stay away from my family and my father’s reputation or you’ll have ME to deal with.
My Thoughts: Surely, TPTB aren’t recycling the ole Mom-daughter love triangle, with Victoria hooking up with Kyle. It would be practically incestuous. Never mind that Summer got there first. Since Jordan had Claire study everything about the Newmans, she must know that her Mom and grandmother were both intimate with her Dad (Cole) …. Having seen how bent out of shape (and that’s an understatement) her grandparents were after losing their precious companies, it’s odd that Claire would SO casually suggest that Lily might just ‘let Billy have it’ (Chancellor) … Billy hasn’t even got his hands on Chancellor yet and he’s already telling Holden that one day he could run his own company? And how ironic (and moronic) for Billy to say that Lily was ‘given’ the company, she didn’t ‘earn’ it. The only job Billy ever ‘earned’ was the podcast he briefly did with Chelsea.
